Staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The lady offered to do our laundry for free and also offered my partner a free meal due to not having his first choice available (we paid of course). But this was the kindest gesture. The room was basic but clean and the lookout had a stunning view of the lions rock!!! Also good AC! And very good for the price

Lovely, kind, helpful hosts who went out of their way to help us. They helped us with trips to Polonnaruwa, Dambulla caves & also with our onward travel. Beautiful location, fabulous views of Sigiriya Rock from the balcony & a lovely outlook from the dining area. Delicious & substantial breakfast.

“Spacious, Clean, great location Ultra-minimalist furnishings, good value”
Large spacious room and bathroom, nice garden area, entire hotel area is spotlessly clean, simple white and black colour scheme - nice!. Very close to the Rocks and eating places. Helpful management, lovely view of the paddy fields from the back balcony where you can sit and take in the fresh air.

“Great place with awsome view to Sigiriya rock!”
The room was very big and nice. Monkeys jumping in the trees around. The view from the upper terrace (breakfast terrace ) was great, just directly to the Sigiriya rock! The location is also good, just a quick walk (10 min) to the main area. I would 100% recommend this place.

“Amazing !!!”
We had such a wonderful stay at Lakmini Lodge! We arrived around 8 hours before check-in and they welcomed us with open arms, offering us a room right away for a small extra fee — so kind and accommodating. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the views from the breakfast area overlooking Sigiriya Rock were simply breathtaking. The owners are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us — they organized a fantastic safari where the jeep picked us up and dropped us off at the lodge, and they also arranged a taxi from Sigiriya to Ella with a stop at Dambulla Cave Temple, all for a very fair price. On top of that, they even arranged a tuk-tuk for us at 4:00 AM so we could hike up Pidurangala Rock in time for sunrise — everything was easy, smooth and made with care. Truly a 10/10 experience — we couldn’t recommend it more! Thank you so much for everything ❤️
