“The stay was great! given the location and the place, it was really great!”

The breakfast was great. The hospitality of the manager was great. Loved it. Loved the stay. The rooms were huge. The top floor room had straight views of Sigiriya and pidurangala rock. Beautiful.

If you like to be in the middle of the nature, this is a very good place, only listening the sounds of the animals, very quiet, clean and confortable rooms and the best thing, Sudutha Who owns the place and it's a very nice anf helpful person, always helping us and taking care of us

“Phenomenal value for money”

We loved our time here. The location, being out of town but a short walk to cycle to Pidurangala rock, was absolutely ideal for us.The room was spotless and comfortable and we loved the view of both Lions rock and Pidurangala from the window above the bed. This actually made the decision of whether to go up at dawn based on the weather conditions really easy. We were so well looked after by the staff and the food was excellent. We've been in Sri Lanka 3 months and the rice and curry is amongst the best we've had so far. Breakfast on our balcony overlooking the jungle was wonderful each morning. Also, the free bike hire was so helpful - just cycling around the peaceful jungle roads was probably our favourite thing to do in Sigiriya. Overall, the property exceeded our expectations and represented excellent value for money.

“Nature 100%”

Beautiful location, nature around us. We had 2 rooms and were the only guests having the property to ourselves. It really feels like a jungle edge. Host was very friendly, even our toddler made friends with him as he showed him fishes & cows. Nice breakfast on a tarrace.

Clean room with AC. Very quiet. Private dinner on the terrace in the evening. Great food. Great host.

The host was very nice and helpful, he arranged a safari for us, and made us breakfast, lunch and dinner (note that lunch and dinner is not part of the price). He gave fresh king coconut as welcome drink. The home is really at the jungle's edge, it was quiet, and only a 20 minute walk away from Pidurangala rock.

“Very enthusiasm, calm and quite stay with nature”

A Wonderful Stay at Jungle Edge Home Sigiriya Located just outside of Sigiriya, Jungle Edge Home offers stunning views of Pidurangala and Lion Rock. The views from the balcony, overlooking the surrounding area, were truly breathtaking and made for a peaceful spot to relax. The resort provided a traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry, and it was very delicious, adding a special local touch to our experience. There were also small discussions about Sri Lankan culture, which enriched our stay and provided a deeper understanding of the region's traditions. The environment outside the resort building was peaceful and serene, offering a perfect backdrop to unwind. The resort also facilitated a friendly safari to visit Minneriya National Park. We were able to see a number of elephants, and the experience was absolutely beautiful. The park's natural beauty and wildlife made for an unforgettable adventure. All in all, the resort’s staff were incredibly helpful, and no request was too much trouble. A truly lovely place to stay!

So calm and beautiful surroundings. Located at walking distance to Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rock, staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. It was amazing to wake up to the sounds of birds and monkeys, Great experience of being in a wild and feeling more than comfortable- great food. Location is great as well - hidden in the forest and short walking distance to main sights.

“Gorgeous little jungle gem”

A calm, clean, and wonderfully cosy little hotel. Close to the world heritage site - Sigiriya Rock Fortress and pidurangala historical religious site. The staff are extremely friendly, polite, and attentive; constantly attempting to ensure guest satisfaction. Food is on a set menu and is absolutely mouthwatering! This little hiding gem truly deserves everyone's attention for all its fabulous services. It is just couple of steps away for bird watching area and the beautiful lake. Free of charge night safari were fantastic and great experience.

“Superb location”

If you love to stay in a calm, quiet place, this is the one. Food was really good and staff were really helpful you can request food you want. Overall it was a different experience like in a forest.

· This is a great small hotel, spacious, clean, beautiful and welcoming. We slept hearing the sounds of the jungle and woke up in a little tropical paradise. Location is great too,highly recommend

Great stay! Super comfortable, perfectly clean and In the perfect location for Sigiriya Rock - right around the corner. The staff were super helpful with everything we needed and it was a great atmosphere. Had a really good breakfast included.
