“One of Sri Lanka’s most impressive hotels”

An exceptional eco lodge. Rooms were spacious and unique - even though they’re technically designed for two people, our lodge worked very well for our family of four. The lake fronting the pool had cormorants and other birds that could be viewed while swimming. There were several peacocks around the property, grey langur monkeys just hanging out in the trees and we did the nighttime walk through the property’s trails to see the slender loris (which we found!). The on-site restaurant served an outstanding breakfast and was great for evenings. It’s not the cheapest place in Sigiriya by a long stretch but it felt like good value for the experience and everything you get.

We had an absolutely fantastic time - the level of service was absolutely exceptional, and the accommodation and food were also fantastic. We had a great time on the morning birdwatching trips. 100% would recommend.

The hotel has a beautiful design that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. You can see a variety of birds and animals, which makes the experience special. The restaurant serves delicious food. A special thanks to my butler, Ravi, who provided thoughtful service. The only thing to note is that the open-air shower in the room may occasionally attract wildlife visitors (for example, monkeys might sit on the wall).

The breakfast choices were excellent. We enjoyed the full SL breakfast which comes with so many varieties of dishes. We loved the choice of treacle and curd for breakfast which we had every day. Our butler, Dissa, took exceptional care of us. The property was so pretty with the design of the lodges built around the small lakes. The room had all of the amenities and super comfortable. We had complimentary alchoholic drinks in the room and a nice bottle of French wine, which was a very nice touch.

“Luxury and calm, close to the wonders of Sigiriya!”

Jetwing Vil Uyana was a beautiful place to spend the Christmas holidays. The paddy dwelling we stayed in was amazing and surrounded by nature, and had its own private pool. It was a wonderful place to relax after a very delayed flight! The staff (especially Suranga) went above and beyond to make our stay special - greeting us after midnight when we finally arrived, providing picnics when we went on day trips, and leaving Christmas cakes and cookies in our room. The location is great for being close to nature and visiting many places such as Sigiriya rock, Hurulu Eco Park where we saw wild elephants with the hotel’s nature guide. It was a really special stay, one we won’t forget!

Beautifully laid-out grounds. Loved the communal areas, especially the library & pool area. The rooms were very large and well appointed. Staff were super friendly.

This is a stunning and unique hotel located in a nature reserve. It’s totally worth the price. Our beautiful villa was located on the lake. We even decided to extend our trip by one day. We stayed over Christmas and the hotel did everything to make us feel at home and celebrate the day. The staff are also absolutely lovely, particularly Asitha, our assigned butler, who was amazing.

The amazing natural setting and space. The wildlife everywhere - monkeys, lizards, tortoise, peacocks, so magical. The staff so friendly and professional and the food was incredible.

“Top Class”

We spent the first two nights of our holiday to Sri Lanka and it was a incredible start. We received a warm welcome, with a welcome drink, flowers, snacks and a cold towel. The incredible service continued for the rest of the stay, Upali who looked after us was a credit to the hotel. The food in the restaurant, as well as the cocktails in the bar were fantastic. The rice and curry was one of the best we have had in our whole holiday. The location is perfect for visiting the Sigiriya attractions, and tuk tuks can be arranged to take you wherever needed. The paddy dwelling was incredibly peaceful and equipped with everything needed for your stay. We also enjoyed walking around the hotel grounds and visiting their farm, as well as watching the local wildlife including wondeful bird life and monkeys.

Beautiful property!!! We loved the resort and the wonderful staff made our stay simply perfect!
