The staff were so helpful. Chameera kept us informed before our stay, and helped us with a Tuktuk driver from the hotel to do both a sunset and sunrise hike. Everyone was really nice. Room was comfortable and the whole ambiance of the hotel was stunning.

We had a wonderful stay at Into the Wild, the hotel is very peaceful, immersed in nature, and with a beatiful pool area. The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff are very attentive and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent, I would recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast option - very generous portions! The dinner options are also really good, with delicious Sri Lankan dishes, as well as tasty burgers.

The room was a good size with comfortable bed. Food was good quality. The pool and grounds were very pleasant. Akash had exceptionally good English which he said was self taught through his work. In his attitude and intuition he showed ideal management skills. In fact from his interactions with the two of us I had assumed he was a manager.

Fantastic location immerse in nature we could even see an elephant walking near the property. The staffs are all amazing, super attentive and kind. Great food selection and overall cleanliness. Totally recommend it!

“Lovely stay”

Great location, although you need tuk tuk or car after dark - it's in the middle of nowhere. Excellent facilities on site with a pool, hammocks and chairs. Very friendly and helpful staff, went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. Good breakfast choices.

“Fantastic experience at a reasonable price”

We had a fantastic stay at Into The Wild. There is a lovely laid back atmosphere with really friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and very clean with a huge comfy bed, air on and lots of hot water in the large shower on. We asked for an upstairs room and you really feel you are up there with the wildlife which we loved. The pool area is really nice with lots of loungers and other chill out areas in the large garden. The communal restaurant/bar area was really nice and we found the food and drink was great at a fair price. There is lots to see and do in the area and it is so easy to arrange transport to the sights and next destination through reception. We also went a guided walk to the local cave temple up the hill as well local cycling tour which were both brilliant and were highlights of our stay. Lovely room, great facilities, really nice restaurant and friendly staff….all good.

“Pleasant stay in the wild”

The hotel has a laundry which is available to guests after 6pm. The owner rustled up a couple of clothes racks to dry our clothes on in the room (a tumble dryer is also available). The hotel has a blackboard with recommended trips and activities with fixed prices. They arranged a half-day safari, a trip to Lion Rock in Sigiriya and the Buddha Cave Temple in Dambulla on the same day, a half-day tour to a nearby game reserve and a car for onward travel to Kandy. The restaurant staff were particularly pleasant.

Lovely property and staff were really friendly and helpful. We loved the swimming pool and the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was a huge amount of food, really lovely and came free with the stay.
