“Perfect!”

We had such a lovely time staying at Gangadiya Lodge. The family looked after us so well, making amazing breakfasts and helping us plan things to do including travel arrangements. When we arrived later than expected on our first night they drove us to a local restaurant for dinner, so we could get there quickly!

The brothers are incredibly helpful and organised the best trips. Breakfast is fantastic and chilling by the pool is a great way to spend your stay. There are restaurants and shops in walking distance

“Excellent”

Great location, slightly further out from Sigirya but very relaxing and surrounded by nature. Short walk to some restaurants and shops. Breakfast was amazing - so much delicious food. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Helped arrange transport if needed. Would stay again!!!

Very helpful and friendly owners. Helped us with booking safari, and gave us many good tipis. Delicious breakfast. Also nice to have pool to chill after warm day. Very good location

“Small but clean guesthouse surrounded by nature”

Very friendly, family-owned place with great breakfasts. The guesthouse has few rooms, but a beautiful garden setting where you can see many different animals and birds.

Wonderful family run guesthouse surrounded by lush green jungle - full Of birds and creatures. Hosts take care of every detail - arranging tours and tuk tuks and preparing delicious meals if requested. Heshan was helpful giving advice on where to go and how to get there, even accompanying us on safari to see elephants. Rooms are simple but comfortable.

“More than you expect”

The price of the stay is really high value for how much you get, a small pool, a giant breakfast I also asked for things they do not offer themselves but were able to find me the right person for namely a photographer and a tuk ride back to Dambulla. The staff not only helped me with those but took service with a smile to perfection, I felt really seen and helped.

The property was located in a quiet area. The family who run it were lovely. Twin brothers Heshan and Melisha will arrange everything for you with our too much trouble. Sweet pool Area surrounded by nature. Massive breakfast.

The hosts were wonderful and incredibly helpful. Delicious and varied breakfast food available too. Special thanks to Hishan, who organized and led our trips to Pidurangala Rock and the Jeep Safari, and even helped us navigate our onwards travel to Kandy. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

“I would recommend this place to stay because of the fabulous hosts”

The family who run the lodge are amazing. They could not do any more to make the stay any better. The breakfasts were fabulous (far too much food for us). The sons were always around to plan and take us on any trip we required and also our onward travel. Amazing hospitality.

The family hosts were amazing and were willing to assist with lifts into town, excursions, information and advice. The breakfast was also good. They provided us with travel to our next location.

“Nice rooms with an amazing view”

When you step through the gate it is so beautiful! The rooms are small but tasteful and the bathroom is a good size.

Very nice place, quiet location, surrounded by greenery. The room was nice for 5 of us, and the kids enjoyed the pool. 10-minute walk from the main road, but they also have really good and simple dinner options. Amazing breakfast, very nice owners...we recommend...

Very friendly and helpful family in an ecolocigal surroundings and nice pool, close to the Sigiriya and Pidurangala rock.

The staff were really friendly, the accommodation was nice and clean. The pool was small but fun and the breakfast was good 😊

Really beautiful rural location about 10-15 minutes walk from the Main Street. Clean facilities, pool great for a refreshing dip! Breakfast was seriously amazing

Nice and quiet place, swimmingpool was nice but small. The peopel were amazing, arranged everything we needed. From safari to transfer to Kandy. Breakfast was great. Thanks a lot!

Blissfully quiet and tucked away in the jungle, but a short walk to nearby restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is INCREDIBLE the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka! Staff are so lovely and always smiling. Helped arrange a safari and provided tuktuk transport for a small fee. Laundry service also available and very reasonably priced. Would love to stay again!

We loved our stay here. The owners are really kind and can arrange everything for you. This really made it two fantastic days! The swimming pool is great for a refreshing dip and the sunbeds are really comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time at Gangadiya Lodge! The whole family was extremely welcoming and took great care of us, providing us with excellent recommendations for restaurants and trips. Breakfast was delicious, and the garden was amazingly beautiful with a lovely pool for cooling off in. It's a very peaceful place, away from the main road. But everything is easily accessible.
