Traditional style stay which was well looked after by the caretakers, breakfast was delicious and abundant. Other meals were provided at a fair cost. We enjoyed being away from main roads and business. Monkeys came past in the backyard which was cool.

Staying at this place was a truly unique experience. It allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in Sri Lankan culture and history. A huge bonus was the food — they prepared delicious local meals for us on request, and the traditional breakfasts included in the stay were fantastic! If you ever want a break from local cuisine, there’s a kitchen available to cook your own meals. ​A lovely lady helped us with everything, including cleaning and doing the dishes, which was a lifesaver since we were traveling with small children. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. This is a very unusual and special place, and it’s definitely worth staying here to experience a whole different world! :)

Very quiet and homely accomodation. All facilities are well maintained and clean. Very spacious bathroom. Very good airconditioning. Caretaker was super freinedly and very attentive. Dinner served on our request was well prepared and tasty.

One of the most beautiful places we stayed on sri lanka. Located in the jungle this beautiful house is an oasis of peace. Style and decoration outstanding and the housekeepers are so sweet! They provided breakfast and dinner in sri lankan style and were so welcoming. On the last day we got to meet the owner and had interesting conversations. This is a personal recommendation!
