We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon! Our hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated for our arrival, we slept very well, and the food was delicious. Thank you for making our stay so special — we highly recommend this hotel!

Owner and staff are client oriented and very welcoming. The room and bed is big sized and everything is clean and tidy. Moreover, the owner is very well connected and happy to organize any kind of service (tour, transfer) required. I highly recommend Dream Villa for a stay in Sigyria!

“Truly a dream villa”

Dream Villa is a must if you’re visiting Sigiriya. The park is just a short walk away, making it easy for early morning visits. Our hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Their service was the best experience with accommodations in our Sri Lanka trip. The breakfast was as dreamy as well. Every day we had something different and all of them were very delicious. This is the kind of place where the hospitality is as memorable as the destination itself. We cannot recommend Dream Villa highly enough!

Enjoyed my stay here. Lovely family and close to shops and walkable to sirigiya rock. Bed lovely decorated and grape juice on arrival. Organised my onward travel to Kandy too.

“Comfortable villa close to the Lion Rock”

Dream Villa Sigiriya is located very close to the Lion Rock. The manager was always available for anything we needed, he also helped us arrange tuk-tuks to Dambulla and Pidurangala, and a long-distance taxi to Colombo. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, with good AC.

“Excellent!”

Very clean, great location with many eateries within 200m. Also right at the start of the street which makes it very accessible at night. Room was cool and had both aircon and fan. Lakmini and her husband were phenomenal hosts - had the best breakfast, very responsive and accommodating of all needs including making vegetarian breakfast for me, laundry, extra water and snacks for onward journey.

“Great value for money, very welcoming”

The location and value for money was great as was the breakfast which was never ending. The owner was very attentive and had arranged lots of trips for our neighbours. We had a driver so didn’t use the owner for any other arrangements but our neighbours said they had been amazing and had enjoyed the rooftop dining experience. The communication prior to check in was good

“Fantastic hosts”

Lakmini and his Wife were amazing during an after our stay. The accommodation was lovely, clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious, too. The location was great, roughly a 20 minute walk to the ticket office for Lion’s rock. The hosts also helped us organise our transport throughout the rest of our trip at a competitive rate through friends of theirs around the country.

“One of our favourite stays!”

Easily one of the best accommodations on our month-long trip to Sri Lanka!! Sanath and Lakmini were the kindest, most welcoming hosts and went above and beyond. They set up a romantic dinner for us, arranged tuktuks, organised a cooking class, and booked our taxis to the next two destinations! The location is also perfect, within walking distance of Lion’s Rock and nearby restaurants. What really stood out was that they never pressured us or asked us to leave a review, which is very common at other places we stayed at. I don’t usually write reviews, but our experience was so amazing it had to be shared!! By the end of our trip, we realised just how much hosts can make or break a stay, and Sanath and Lakmini made ours very special, one we will never forget!!:)

“Most Romantic place I’ll ever eat at”

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in after months of travel. The host is incredible. The romantic dinner hosted by the host is something I will never forget. The safari tour was also amazing. The host made the whole trip with how kind he is. Normally i keep to myself in accommodation however the host was so kind and sorted absolutely everything for us

We had the best start to our honeymoon staying at Sanam and Lakmini’s home stay. They are such a thoughtful and kind couple. We are travelling Sri Lanka for our honeymoon and they had thoughtfully decorated our room for our arrival. Upon arrival we were also provided with cool towels to freshen up and a lovely drink. Sanam helpfully put us in touch with a local driver who made navigating the rest of our trip around Sri Lanka very convenient. Even after we continued our trip, the hosts checked to see how we were getting on and if we had arrived at places safely. Lakmini’s cooking is incredible. We enjoyed a variety of homemade fresh breakfasts and dinners. Very tasty and generous portions. My favourite was the pumpkin curry - delicious! Sanam arranged an amazing safari for us too which was excellent value for money. We had the best experience seeing elephants and it was a highlight of our trip. Exceptional hospitality and food, amazing value for money and a great location. This was by far my favourite stay on our two week honeymoon. Do not hesitate to book! We would love to return one day. Thank you again for everything.

“Really good value for the price”

The owners Are the kindest people i met. They helped us with transport all across Sri Lanka. Thea made is a delicious meal on top of the building. Whenever we had a problem they helped us just seconds later. They arranged a safari for a really good price and we saw 20 elefants.

Never had such kind hosts that had really special surprises during the evening diner. It was a stay to never forget! Would recommend to any couple travelling through Sigiriya.

We had a very nice stay at Dream Villa Sigiriya. The room was clean and comfortable, the hosts outstandingly nice. The dinner and breakfast was fatanstic. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

“Amazing!”

This was by far our favourite stay of our three weeks in Sri Lanka. Sanath and Lakmini were the most perfect hosts. They couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodating. Lakmini made us a delicious dinner and breakfast. Sanath also makes delicious cocktails you must try. It is a perfect location for both Sigiriya rock and Pidurangala Rock. Sanath took us in his tuk tuk to Pidurangala and then picked us up afterward which was so helpful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. We even got a lovely message on arrival! I would recommend anyone to stay here while in Sigiriya.
