“Wonderful Homestay”

The HomeStay had everything we needed. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we were comfortable at all times. They were even kind enough to give us breakfast early when we planned to go for a walk at dawn. The breakfast was very tasty! The location was great for us, we could walk easily to Pidurangala Rock and there were some great places to eat around the area too, plus a great cooking class only 4 minutes walk away. I would definitely stay again.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Asiri and his wife welcomed us very warmly and made us feel at home from the first moment. They are incredibly kind and attentive hosts, and nothing was missing during our stay. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and a real highlight was that Asiri showed us around the area and drove us in his tuktuk. It’s not a Hotel, but that’s exactly what makes it special - you get to experience the real Sri Lanka and their wonderful people. We highly recommend staying here and would happily come back.

Very hospitable host, best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka, mosquito net

AC, warm water, mosquito net and water pressure were on point. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Everything was very clean. Lovely people - checkout there woodcraft.

Asiri and his family were so kind and generous. They made sure that we had everything we needed to have a fabulous stay in Sigiriya. They were great at organising various activities for us. Asiri took us to Lion Rock in his Tuk Tuk. The breakfast was superb with so much Sri Lankan food, tea, coffee and juice. It was an amazing homestay and would definitely recommend to anyone.

I had a very pleasant stay at Asiri's Homestay. He and his family were so kind and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of food including great coffee and tea. I also chose to have dinner at the homestay which was a variety of different typical Sri Lankan dishes and very tasteful. The homestay has a beautiful garden which I could enjoy from my terrace. I was always offered something to drink after coming back from sightseeing. Furthermore I was able to go with Asiri in his tuktuk to Pollonaruwa and Anuradhapura with a stop at Dambulla Cave Temple for a reasonable price. He even dropped me off and picked me up at Sigiriya Rock at no charge. I'm very glad I stayed at Asiri's Homestay and highly recommend!

“Great homestay in close vicinity to Sigiriya’s main sights with amazing breakfast”

Everything at this homestay was perfect! The hosts were very friendly and pampered us with amazing breakfast and coffee in the afternoon. The homestay is also well situated and you can walk to the Lions rock.

I think this is the best homestay we have stayed in so far. It started with a nice friendly smile from the owners upon arrival. They were super kind and offered is tea multiple times throughout the day. The breakfast was plenty and varied. The room itself was one of the cleanest I've seen. 1000% worth the money.

We had a wonderful time staying with Asiri and Rasika! They are truly warm-hearted hosts who take care of everything with so much kindness and attention. From the very first moment, we felt completely welcome and at home. Asiri and Rasika organized an amazing safari for us and were always there to help – even with the tuk-tuk when we needed it. One of the highlights was definitely the delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared each day. We also really appreciated all the thoughtful little touches like fresh juice, water, tea, and cookies – it made our stay even more special. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable – the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Sigiriya. Thank you so much for everything – we’d come back anytime!

“Exceptionally welcoming with excellent food”

I travelled to the area with my adult son and so we booked the family room -large double bed and a single bed and stayed 3 nights. The room was clean and came with an ensuite -toiletries provided as well as laundry soap. No funny smells! It is very centrally located -easy to reach the main landmarks -sigiriya rock, pidurangala rock, dambulla cave temple. Asiri has a tuk tuk and took us wherever we wanted to go at very reasonable prices. The breakfasts were feasts and delicious -Asiri's wife Rasika is an excellent cook. We also requested an evening meal which did not disappoint -thoroughly recommend as it beats the local restaurants in quality in my opinion. We also went on an elephant safari-Asiri arranged this for us with a known safari driver and again it was not overpriced. His lovely daughter Menasha joined us for this and she has good knowledge of the elephants. Staying at Asiri Home stay was like staying with family and we were sad to leave. We thoroughly recommend Asiri Homestay to everyone

Breakfast was really delicious and big, different local food every day. Staff was amazing, from the moment we got there they were offering fresh fruit, homemade juices and sweets. Asiri took us everywhere with his tuktuk. One of the most kind people we ever met.

Our hosts treated us to a new year breakfast feast. It was such a variety of amazing Sri Lankan food and all delicious and beautifully served. They were so warm and welcoming

“Perfect homestay”

Perfect homestay for our final few days of a 5 month trip. Asiri and his family were so hospitable and made sure we were comfortable, well fed and relaxed. We didn't need any tour or driving services but they were very happy to help if you needed this. We had dinner 1 night here and highly recommend. The room was very good with AC, a well equipped bathroom (spare toilet roll, soap, laundry detergent, hooks) and lots of space for belongings in the room.

Very good Food and lovely hosts

Asiri and his wife Rasika are amazing hosts! We felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They are extremely hospitable and attentive. Our meals were beyond delicious and generous. Would recommend if you are looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience :)

The hosts are super lovely, helpful and welcoming. We had great breakfast and dinner one night - it was very tasty and traditional! Loved it. Location is great to discover places in the area! The host has a Tuktuk and is very flexible in driving you. You have everything you need in the room.

“Wonderful accomodation and hosts”

Everything. We had a night flight to Sri Lanked and we were planning to do some tours at arrival. We felt extremely tired after arriving so I asked the host if we could check in early already at 7 am since we wanted to sleep. It was no problem at all. They were so welcoming and offered us tea and coffee. Room was comfortabele and breakfast was very delicious. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!
