“Beautiful lokacation i Siesta Key”

The house is perfectly located. It’s just a short walk to the beach, where sun loungers were available. The beach itself is absolutely beautiful. The town is also nearby, with easy access to a bus stop offering free departures several times throughout the day. It’s especially lovely to sit by the water along the canal and enjoy a morning coffee.

“Wonderful Villa, Wonderful Host”

The Villa was clean and spacious with access to a pool and easy access to the best beach in the USA. Gabriela, our host was very informative. We let her know we were coming from the UK and she provided us with lots of recommendations . Would definitely recommend and hope to be able to come back one day.

“Lovely house to rent in Siesta Key”

The place was amazing for family stays (3 bedrooms, with huge living room, fully stocked kitchen utensils, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer). Lovely private lush pool area. 7 min walk to beach.

“Worst stay ever”

This is my first time ever writing a bad review , however it is my duty letting others know how Booking.com and the management team handled this situation. Unfortunately we scheduled a trip to Sarasota without knowing there will be a storm heading our way. By the time we found out we reached out to Booking.com as well as the management team to try to reschedule our trip, knowing that the projected path of the storm included the whole west coast. The answer we first got was that there was nothing going on in the area, so , basically we were not able to change dates. We, at this point, were not looking for a refund but the possibility of keeping the reservation for a different time, but since Sarasota was not on the direct path they were not allowed us to that courtesy. Unfortunately we made it to the property without knowing what was happening there, Booking.com or the management team never reached out to inform us that the county had shut off running water even though this information was released the previous day, was on TV, social media and spread to everyone that owns or managed a property in the affected areas. We got stuck in a property with no running water, no access out of the island just because Booking.com and the property management team never forwarded this life saving information. We could have found a different place to stay with the basic services if Booking or the team would have been responsible but they choose not to. Maintenance on the property didn't meet our expectations either and a few gallons of water would have made a huge difference. Dealing with booking.com and their team, especially Gabriella has been our worst experience ever with a short rental company .We will never use it again.

“Reasonably priced large property idea for families with great beach and water access!”

Location. The decking on the waterfront was a beautiful place to sit and relax. The proximity to the beach was great - 5mins walk is ideal. Both bathrooms appear to be recently renovated. Great access to the main bars and restaurants via the trolley bus also.

“Peace and Tranquility at Bay View”

The house is in a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil setting. A fresh, clean scent was very noticeable upon opening the door on arrival. The house was very clean. Pool off slider of master bedroom was perfect for swimming later in the day when it was too hot to be at the beach. Great water pressure in master shower. Great location for taking the trolley to Siesta Key Village for dinner.

The location is amazing. Very quiet and close to everything. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee in the muskoka chairs by the bay and then heading to the beach across the street.

Great location with easy access across to the beach and jetty. Nice warm pool, comfortable lounge.

Property was poorly maintained. Owner had excuse for everything that was broken down. If she couldn’t afford to maintain ( although she was making enough money off the property) she shouldn’t be renting .

From the first minutes of our stay, we enjoyed and rejoiced that we chose Derby Lane. We liked everything! Location, cleanliness, quietness and convenience. This is a fabulous place! Ocean 5 minutes walk. The owners did a great job, thank you! We will definitely come back)))
