Only about 15 mins walk from the station, 10 mins walk from the main shopping area and about 15 mins walk from a shopping center. Pizza place and an international shop (with odd opening hours) 5 mins walk. The facilities were nice and clean. The bed was comfy and you have table and comfy chairs to choose from. Plenty of storage. The block of flats was also lovely and clean. Clear instructions on how to find the flat and how to get in (in theory you need to be there first day before 8pm as the door may be locked after that time). Nice view of a small vineyard! Loads to do in the area if you like walking, trying the local produce, the funicular is only a short walk away which takes you up to Crans Montana, If you are into bicycles, you must visit the (private) bicycle museum in Chippis which is only a short cycle (recommend you hire a bicycle for a few days).
