Evertyhing is as always great! The rules have become better. It is more relaxed and the owner must have realized that it's better to let people bring food to the room and sometimes use the restaruant to sit with your own stuff, it is definately smarter because then he gets people to buy more from the actual restaurant. I wouldn't haveconsider buying the breakfast if I wouldn't first have been allowed to sit there with my brought in breakfast egg, I have a sensitive stomach. The bar area/pool was improved and much more cozy this time, cleaner and well kept. The Manager accommodated me to store my stuff for a small fee and he was being really kind and helpful.

All friendly and helpful staff with very good English. Comfortable and clean facilities, with swimming pool, bar and restaurant.

The staff is friendly and laid back. There is a clean salt water pool and a good restaurant and bar. Cold water for sale on the premises. Plenty tours and activities to choose from as well. Good AC

The dorm prices were low and was very much affordable , so I booked for 6 nights. The staff were ok. Night time was quiet in the dorms and I could sleep well

I liked the social aspect of this hostel. Not too loud but enough people to chat with and get the hostel vibe! Staff were great, pool is amazing, food was great, took a while to make but was delicious and very reasonably priced! Staff let us stay around at the property way after check out as our bus wasn’t until late, which was great! Pool table is cool, and the daily drinks specials were a great touch!

A grand old hotel converted to a backpackers. I had a private room which was nice. It is a little faded and rough around the edges, but for me, that adds to the charm of the place. Who wants sterile and new! The showers were hot and high pressure, not a combination you get every day in S E Asia! They can hire you a scooter but had none the day i wanted one. The place directly across the street helped out and seemed honest and fair. A great place.
