Everything. Had a problem with the room which was sorted very professionally and promptly. The staff, although young, were very friendly and polite. This particular hotel takes young interns and trains them in hospitality. The staff are a credit to that ethos. Their happy and tolerant demeanours were wonderful.

“Warm and welcoming staff”

This place is absolutely lovely. Staff are all super helpful and make everything very straightforward. We stayed in one of the private villas, which was absolutely worth the upgrade if you’re travelling in a group/family. The private pool was lovely and bigger than I expected. The beds in the villa are huge so plenty of space for two to spread out and relax. I was concerned about getting to and from the hotel, but they’re always happy take you between the villa and hotel by tuktuk for free. The staff provide a WhatsApp number so you can contact them easily with any questions or if you need anything. We ate breakfast in the hotel every day and it was amazing. We also had dinner there one night and it was very good food and reasonably priced. I had the fish amok and it was the best one I’ve tried on my trip. One thing I loved about the hotel, is they have a no shoes indoor policy and it makes you feel like you’re at home when walking around the hotel. A very nice touch that I’ve never encountered before. The hotel also offers tuktuks into town for free in the evening which helps instead of arranging yourself.

The hotel and especially the villa were not done justice by the photos. Our three room villa was huge and had a great pool. room service and transport into town was very easy, as it was to arrange a heap of excursions.

Location: out of the hustle and bustle, on the edge of town. Just a $1.50 USD tuk tuk ride away from all the action. Serene, quiet, and peaceful....this was a great retreat after a busy day. Service: the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. They couldn't be better. Food: the menu options are simple and diverse with something for everyone. Everything we had was delicious and the prices are reasonable; especially for a resort. CINNAMON JUICE!!! We were welcomed with a refreshing glass of cinnamon juice that doesn't seem to be served anywhere else in town. It is so, so good. Room: Naturally cool, it never seemed hot even when it was 98° F outside. Plus, the AC worked great. Pool: just the right size to let you cool off after a hot day. Lizards: there are cute lizards running around the outside walls. Kids will love them!
