I loved this hotel. It had a wonderful traditional Cambodian feel with every comfort I needed and a lovely little pool. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. It was about a 10-15min walk to the centre which was perfect for me as I wanted to be close but not in the middle of the city. They also offered a free Tuk Tuk service to Pub Street in the evening. The hotel employs young Cambodian people and supports them to gain essential experience for their futures and it endeavours to look after the environment also, which are all things I believe our impact as tourists should consider. It was a little oasis and I would definitely check in there again. 😊

Gosh, what a gem! We couldn’t fault the staff or facilities. We had a villa by the pool which was spacious and cool, tucked behind some lush tropical plants. The pool was a great relief in the heat of the day! It was a great start to our wonderful Cambodian trip

What an amazing hotel, the room was fantastic, large, clean had everything we needed. The hotel service was exceptional, food and drink was great but the staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, warm, super helpful and a real joy to deal with from reception, to restaurant and bar and cleaning staff could not have asked for better. We loved our stay there and could not recommend highly enough.

I have stayed at many places in Siem Reap but I do not have to look again ! Whenever I come back I will stay at The Elephant. Rooms, staff and service cannot be faulted - in Cambodia I am used to the staff being very friendly and helpful but at The Elephant the staff are extra special, extra friendly and extra helpful . The pool and surrounds make the Elephant such a peaceful location to relax and unwind. I didn't want to leave - it is a home away from home !

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Elephant. The staff was so so lovely and helpful, the rooms were incredibly comfortable and the pool was perfect after a hot day of exploring the many temples of Angkor Wat. I particularly enjoyed afternoon tea everyday! The best hotel is stayed in, in Cambodia!

This was favourite stay of my trip. The staff were amazing people, Nita gave us excellent service and was always ready to help and give amazing recommendations. The ease of the Tuk Tuk’s being right at the door, and they were also friendly, Chin was always willing to help us get where ever we need. From arrival to departure this stay was special

“A great experience and wonderful staff”

We had such a fantastic time at The Elephant. The room was big, very clean, and very quiet, with good AC and a really comfortable bed. Some parts of the pool and some seats were under lush trees and vegetation, making the view very scenic and also providing a welcome shadow in the heat and full blast of the sun. The breakfast was also very tasty and their signature cinnamon drink was delicious - we hadn't tried anything like it before. But the highlight was definitely the staff. Every member of the staff that we spoke with was so kind and so helpful, really going above and beyond for us. They helped with arranging everything from temple tours, massage, laundry, airport collection/drop-off, tuk-tuks to the city centre. Communication was impeccable and everything very well organised, you could tell really care about the guests. Our tuk-tuk driver Mr Kann was so friendly and adapted our tours to our pace and needs. He had everything we needed during the tours: cold water, cold towels, maps, even umbrellas. We had a wonderful time exploring the temples.  It is also very well located, with really good gems of restaurants and coffee places nearby. In a nutshell, the complete package of what we wanted in a hotel, and we would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel is fabulous. It’s styled on colonial elegance and the rooms are big and very comfortable. Our room had a terrace looking onto the swimming pool. The staff were all happy and clearly enjoyed their jobs and looking after their guests- we even were given cold towels when we came back from a day sightseeing. The food was also great. We were sorry to leave after a fabulous 3 night stay.

“Exceptional Elephant!”

This hotel is absolutely sensational. We have travelled all over South East Asia, and the service at this hotel is the best we've come across. The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. They always say hello, ask how your day was and even provide a cold flannel when you return back after a busy day. The tuktuk service (which is free in the evening to the Old Market) is brilliant and very useful. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from Old Market/pub street, but the tuktuk service or just getting a grab is easy. The hotel itself is exceptional. The rooms are huge with a large bed, a big bathroom and lots of storage space. We loved having the balcony space to relax, although there is loads of pool side space with loungers. The pool is a much needed space during the hot afternoons. They provide pool towels and even offer to bring out drinks. A very special addition is the afternoon tea that's put on. They offer two tea options and plenty of snacks including fruit and spring rolls. This is such a lovely extra (and is free!). We really enjoyed this in the afternoons. The onsite restaurant is great for breakfast and cocktails! You can also have dinner here too. The Elephant is a truly fantastic hotel. They could definitely raise the price per night because this was a steal! We can't wait to visit again.
