Great location, just a short walk from Pub street. Great room for a great price. The facilities are great (swimming pool, and a bar that sells good food as well as cheap drinks), and they provide cheap tours around Angkor Wat!

The staff was available 24 hours a day and always helpful. The room was spacious and clean (not very modern, which didn't bother me.) I booked all of my tours through the hostel and they were great.

There's no other option but the best! After being kicked out of The Place Hostel in Siem Reap, it was the lovely and kind Sophia at the front desk who took me in; otherwise, I would have been sleeping on the street. Sophia is not only genuinely beautiful, but her service is also incredibly professional and mature. Yet, she's so thin and looks only 16 years old – I was shocked! She was incredibly welcoming, and she's also an excellent English teacher, correcting some of my grammar mistakes. The best thing about this hostel is that the air conditioning is on almost 24/7, and the room rate is only $3 USD. During the hot daytime, I could sleep in the bed. Meanwhile, the air-conditioned rooms at The Place Hostel next door cost $4.50 USD, but they were off from 10 AM to 6 PM every day! I asked the staff at The Place Hostel why, and the answer was – for energy conservation, for environmental protection, for Mother Earth! My goodness! What a perfect reason, flawless! Furthermore, The Place Hostel has an even more classic policy: if guests choose to buy coffee or other food outside, they are considered unwelcome and can only stay for a maximum of 7 days. I only found out about this after staying for 9 days, so I was politely asked to leave by the staff. I've stayed in hostels and hotels in at least 10 countries, and all the owners wanted me to stay longer. Only at The Place Hostel was I shocked by the owner's bizarre approach! This was the first time in my life I'd experienced being unwelcome. I feel the owner of The Place Hostel is incredibly admirable; she sacrificed her customers' rights and experiences to protect Mother Earth. She's an owner worthy of respect! So I quickly left and came to this hotel, where I received the respect and understanding I deserved, and the experience was very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel!

I met some excellent staff here, and I especially want to mention the boy named Kea. He's very handsome, passionate about his work, and a highly professional employee. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Good hostel with great facilities. All staff was very helpful and friendly. Had a few disturbed nights sleep in mixed dorm hostel, due to some other customers lacking respect for others. Also, partner wishes she slept in female only dorm due to smell from others in room. However aware this is not at fault of hostel or staff. Barring this beds were comfortable with great air con Pool area is lovely as is bar and restaurant

“Highly recommend, super helpful team”

Incredibly friendly and helpful team, from check in to extending our stay to arranging competitively priced tours/transfers (sunrise temples & floating village and onward coach to Battambang). Excellent location, perfect for exploring all areas of Siem Reap, easily on foot. Although close to busy areas and named pub hostel, the set up and location down a side street meant that it was quiet at night so we slept well.
