So... our trip is over and now i can say that the early comments are correspond to reality! I got an interesting experience of being in an authentic Cambodian family. Delicious food, beautiful garden, interesting conversations. Mr. Ratha is an assistant in everything. Good luck to Mr. Ratha, his wife and son!

I very much liked the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Phan is a great host that takes a lot of care of his customers and is very eager in making your stay as pleasant and fulfilling as possible. We got invited for dinner on arrival and had some lovely food, got to meet the whole family! Afterwards he invited us to a beer and we had a long and emotional talk about our lives, Cambodian culture, the youth of Cambodia and about how important it is to educate oneself, and Phan definitely knows how to! And also shares it and gives it to others as well (shout-out to his YouTube). They've been very lovely as well when we left and even though we just stayed one night, it felt like having builded a deeper connection already. You won't regret your stay here, although it's a little more rural, and a little bit outside of the main city. If you look for a heartful experience, this is the place!

The hosts are extremely welcoming and warm and are extremely generous with their guests and the community, dedicating their time and resources to the children of the village. Such a lovely place and family, surrounded by nice garden. Ratah's family made all possible so that we felt good, rooms were comfy... Actually we felt home. My best guesthouse in Cambodia till now, and that's a lot, cause lots of its are very nice! Thank you!

Here in this naturally and ecologically managed garden, just a few minutes from the center of Siem Reap, Rata lives with his wife and young son. Life here is somewhat simpler; the water pressure in the shower is not high, and sleeping without air conditioning is still comfortable and mosquito-free under mosquito nets, with or without a fan, as you prefer. You don't come here for a luxury vacation, but you have the opportunity to experience the opposite. The incredibly heartwarming, hospitable, knowledgeable, and human nature of Rata and his wonderful, skilled-cooking wife gives you the chance to immerse yourself in Cambodia in a very different way. It's not for everyone, but for me, it was three days of top-notch warmth and a little adventure at the same time. Siem Reap, November 2023.
