“You need to stay here 🙂”

Complete honesty? I thought the reviews were too good to be true, so I booked a few nights and thought I'd see for myself. By the time I leave I'll have stayed with this truly wonderful family for 3 weeks and I'd visit again in a heartbeat. Yep, the reviews are true. Navy, Ken, and family are warm, welcoming, kind and incredibly generous people. We've had lovely conversations, shared delicious meals, laughed and spent time together. It's a really great mix of privacy when you'd like it and the ability to connect and converse when you wish. The homestay is a quick scooter or tuktuk ride from the touristy part of town so you can get everywhere easily. I like that it's about 10 minutes away from the busy, noisy energy in the centre of Siem Reap. It feels calmer, quieter, and like a true homestay. Navy and Ken speak excellent English and are very happy to teach you some Khmer (I'm so sorry for my terrible pronunciation! 😂), and we've had some great conversations about life, the universe and everything during my stay. The room is very spacious - a separate bedroom, bathroom, and lounge area to enjoy. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The bedroom has air-conditioning and the lounge area is 'indoor outdoor' style (open air but with privacy) with a fan. There's consistent hot and cold water in the shower (you definitely don't need hot water in Cambodia at this time of year, but it's there if you want it!). There's also a large fridge in the private lounge area for basic self catering, keeping water cold, or storing snacks. Wifi is good and you can top up your water bottle with filtered water which is provided. Also, when you stay you NEED to try Navy's cooking - it's so, so good!! As a solo female traveller I feel safe, comfortable and so cared for. I feel like I've been welcomed into the family - and when you travel alone, that's a really lovely thing to experience.

The house was very beautiful. We had a huge and stylishly furnished room with AC, as well as a living room/ terrace to chill and watch sunsets.

I had a wonderful stay with some wonderful hosts. Quiet and relaxed area. About 8 minutes to the center of SR by Scooter. Can recommend to everyone if you're looking for an authentic stay in a lovely family environment

It was our first homestay in Cambodia and was brilliant Wonderful family, we had great food. and our room, which was actually a suite, was exceptional We had a meal with the family and our friends who were also in Siem Reap joined us Wonderful evening with nice food We liked being outside the city, it was peaceful

Ken, Navy and whole their family are an exceptional hosts. They have great and open hearts and they make you immediately feel like at home. Exceptional location on the outskirts of Siem Reap guarantees you a very calm environment with lot of space to relax in the beautiful nature all around. I have highly valued the size, cleanliness of the place. They have helped me to organize transport to and from the airport as the great guided tours to the Angkor Wat and other beautiful historical and cultural landmarks of the rich Khmer culture. I've felt there immediately like in a second home, so if you want to get to know closer the beautiful Khmer culture full of care and love, this is the place you will get instantly in love with!

A lovely large room with a separate bedroom, a bathroom and a Hall. Great location - quite close to the Center (5 min on the bike), but at the same time the country silence. Navy and Ken are beautiful owners, helped all issues throughout our stay. On home cozy atmosphere, want to return here again.

Very comfortable room, nice decoration, plenty of space. Mindful service. You get everything you can possibly need. Large fridge, clean place. It's outside the main tourist area but a short distance by tuk tuk or motorcycle.

“Recommended homestay, a little outside the centre of Siem Reap”

The hostess, Navy, was charming and made sure we were well looked after. She cooked us a delicious dinner (5USD pp), making some Cambodian specialities that my husband asked for, and a traditional Cambodian breakfast (also 5USD pp). The balcony upstairs is a lovely place to relax, with a great view over the local area, and we loved the family's three dogs!

“Great stay and fantastic value for money”

This was perfect for us. 10 minutes tuk tuk drive to the town, which meant peace and quiet at the homestay. We wanted to emerse ourselves in the culture rather than staying at a hotel that could be anywhere in the world. Navy and Ken were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Navy cooked us dinner and breakfast and we socialised with them and another guest while we ate. Beautiful family. They arranged a tuk tuk for us when we wanted to go to town. The room was large, had a nice balcony to watch the sunset and was very clean. For the price we paid it was exceptional.

“A wonderful stay with Mr Ken and Ms Navy”

The homestay is a gem and Mr Ken and Ms Navy are the nicest, kindest and most accommodating hosts we ever had. Ms Navy made us wonderful meals, and looked after me, when I fell ill. The room is very comfortable, all is well thought through and nicely decorated. There is truly nothing to change to make it better. We felt very much at home and safe. Now I am sad to not have booked a longer stay.

We've had a wonderful stay over the last couple of days and would recommend this place to everyone! Having been on the road for the last month it was amazing to find a place where we felt at home and could properly relax and enjoy Ken and Navy's amazing hospitality! Whether it was the pumpkin noodles which especially being a coeliac was an absolute revelation, chatting about life stories, the amazing amok curry, dancing with the puppy or learning to ride a scooter, these are memories we will remember for a long time! Thank you!!!!

The room was large and clean and the surroundings was in the countryside so all natural and peaceful. The owners were the friendliest people we have met in 5 years living abroad. They gave us drinks and fruit when we arrived 😁
