“Absolutely superb in every way!!”
Superb! We booked 4 nights and stayed for 8! Excellent room, comfortable bed, shower was amazing! The pool was refreshing and beautiful to float around in with the lush gardens. Breakfast was outstanding. The staff were exceptional in every way. Would come back again!

“A wonderful stay to see the wonders of this magical area, not to be missed.”
We took the 2 day magical tour on offer and had a great time, our guide Sinet and driver Chek were both excellent, a thoroughly enjoyable 2 days. The staff here are exceptional nothing is too much trouble.

“Excellent place for short stay in Siem Reap”
We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely small resort located close to the center. The location is very convenient, yet the area itself is extremely quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for relaxing. Overall, the hotel offers very good value for money. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Their kindness really contributed to a very enjoyable stay. The room facilities are a bit dated and could benefit from some modernization. At breakfast, the buffet was not always refilled very quickly. However, once we asked the staff, everything was replenished almost immediately and very efficiently. All in all, we would still recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stay close to the center at a reasonable price.

“Fantastic hotel, would definitely stay again”
Immaculately clean, really friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet. Amazing long pool with sun-beds around it. Room was really comfortable and quiet. We loved it so much we stayed twice. The area around the hotel was great too and only a short walk to the river.

“We loved everything about our stay”
We loved this hotel. The room was beautiful and the staff were wonderful. The food was fresh and delicious. The magnificent pool area was extremely relaxing. We went on a 3-day magical tour which we loved. Our driver was Soun and our guide was Sinet. We always felt safe in the new car and Sinet was a fantastic guide. Ask for them if you decide to go on a tour and you won’t be disappointed. We also went to the cultural night performed by local dancers and had an excellent dinner. It was very enjoyable. All round we had a wonderful stay and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and activities.

“A wonderful stay at The Golden Retreat”
Well positioned, quiet location. Lovely staff, so welcoming and friendly could not do enough for us and certainly helped us retrieve our luggage which was still in Bangkok when we arrived in Siem Reap.
