The location is nearby to Pub street. You can literally walk to pub street, night market etc. Money exchange,laundry, restaurants are in a short walk. Staff is very friendly. They take good care of you. Bedding, hot water, AC was great. Clean and pest free. Nothing major to complain and it was a great choice.

First, the staff are amazing. They were helpful with suggestions and making arrangements for our airport transfer and other needs. Note, Booking.com states airport shuttle is included. It is not. You will have to arrange your own transport orr message the hotel and ask them if they can arrange it for you. You will pay the driver. The A/C of the room we were booked into was malfunctioning so they moved us to a different room the next day. We very much appreciated that! The rooms were clean but if you want your room cleaned every day, you will need to ask. Housekeeping does not come knock on your door. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and met our expectations. The staff were great and we would easily recommend Archaic House if you are looking for a good value accommodation.

The hotel was exactly what we expected - simple, in a good location, and the room had what was needed, a bed, a desk, a functioning bathroom, and the aircon was good, and the wifi was adequate.

“A Little Gem With Very Friendly Staff, Perfect!”

I recently finished my six day stay at Archaic House, and I had the most fantastic time. The property is ideally located close to Pub Street in Siem Reap and is the perfect base to use for visiting Angkor, Tonle Sap and the various sights in the area. I can’t praise this place highly enough. The hotel’s facade, furnishings and feel are well thought out and modern, but also welcoming and cosy. The rooms are very comfortable with excellent AC and super fast WiFi, plus a western style bathroom with hot showers. My room was spacious and well lit with a huge window which was a plus. The bed was super comfy. There’s a sister hotel across the street that has an excellent restaurant, which I strongly recommend eating at also. The best part about Archaic House is the staff though. They are super kind, caring and friendly - especially the girl on reception (wanted to give her a tip but she wasn’t there on my check out day - if you stay here give her a tip on my behalf lol! She was great). Overall, a fantastic stay for me and I can’t recommend this enough to other tourists coming to Siem Reap, stay here and you’ll enjoy yourself as much as I did.
