“Fair hotel, but shortcomings not in keeping with its star rating.”
The hotel is set in pleasant grounds with several buildings making up the overall complex. It is rather hard to rate this hotel as there were many good points; the king-size bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was light and airy and the staff there, both for breakfast and evening meal were very helpful and friendly. But there are also things which need improvement, for which see below

“Perfect end to a long day”
Hotel selected because it was on our route. With no great expectations we were delighted with our choice. Quiet, peaceful and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, lovely setting with walking trails at the back door, superb breakfast and excellent value.

Great to still be able to arrive even after reception is not manned anymore, by means of a box that contains the key and that you get a code for.

“Very pleasant experience and great value for money. Would have lived to stay another night or two but we were just trave”
We stayed in rooms 135 and 145 and very much enjoyed the quiet location. The rooms are of good size with well made and solid furnishings. All very clean and carefully prepared. We found the beds to be very comfortable and supportive. The en-suite shower and toilet was very clean and well appointed. The staff we interacted with on arrival and departure were friendly and responsive. Lovely location, very quiet and some really nice walks nearby. There’s also an amazing Freibad within walking distance from the hotel!

“Great overnight stay, would come back and stay longer next time”
What a wonderful place to stay, possibly our best overnight stay during our 9 day mini tour of Germany and Holland. Very helpful staff. Although the bar was closed when we arrived, there was a honesty fridge with cold beers in that you paid for in the morning. Lovely setting for a hotel and able to enjoy breakfast on the terrace in the quiet countryside. Hotel is set in lovely grounds with a couple of nice walks

Beautiful location, very scenic outside of Siegen close to autobahn. Trees, hills and the sound of birds to wake to in the morning give you a feel of nature and countryside. Excellent dinner and breakfast.

The hotel is in a fantastic location with lovely grounds to spend time in when the weather is nice. The room was very comfortable and clean, everything you need is in the bathroom. The breakfast is fantastic with a huge choice.
