One of the cutest places I’ve ever stayed! Candlelight hotel, wonderful staff and breakfast, beautiful decorated! No electricity feels like your stepping back in time, so special 💫 10/10

Unusual hotel. Although toilet facilities not en suite and no electricity in rooms owners utterly charming and it was a welcome oasis on our journey.

“Memorable, charming & delightful”

My intention was to book in Essaouira initially but I decided to stay a little further away in Sidi Kaouki. It was a great decision- Hotel Le Kaouki is an absolute gem of a place. It oozes charm and I found it to be most relaxing. The candlelight throughout was a great experience and the dinners I had there were delightful. I spent two days here, one exploring the beauty of Sidi Kaouki and the other visiting Essaouira, which is only a 25 minute drive away. I hope to return again some day. It was amazing, thank you.

The staff, the cleanliness, the food, the candle light. Bed was comfortable and the showers worked well. Exceptional value. A very relaxing environment to spend a few days.

the breakfast was delicious and the food overall outstandingly delicious. It is one of my favorite places in Morocco, the Hotel didn't lose its charm. I was there 10 years ago for the first time and i will always come back.

+ friendly guesthouse owners, happy welcome + very very relaxed atmosphere, enenings and nights the place is lit by candles + no electricity in the rooms (however there's a central "electricity desk" to charge electronic devices) + good breakfast, optional good dinner + calm and cozy rooms, lots of hooks!, off a common sitting lounge + the house, incl. common bathrooms (lots of hooks, too!), is spotless clean + roof top terrace with great sea view, shady garden + environmental friendly (e.g. buckets which avoid waste of cold water and allows saving it for flowers in the garden) + good location (near beach, little shops & cafes, bus station) I do not understand the bad ratings for the WiFi: it's fast and efficient in the central WiFi-Zone as indicated (despite it isn't offered in the rooms, it does often work there as well, whereas it is the other way round in "everywhere-WiFis" in other places)

Only candle lights, no electric lights. Creates a special magic. Amazing rooftop terrace. Great atmosphere during dinner time with all the candles. Friendly staff. Highly recommended classic in Sidi Kaouki.

We stayed in the suite on the top floor at Le Kaouki which gave us exclusive and private use of the roof top terrace, which was incredible. The staff were warm, calm, good humoured and very helpful and our evening meal was perfect. Living by candle light was inspiring and the beach was stunning.

Very authentic place with cozy flowered yard. I did like their included breakfasts, but you have to reserve a table in advance for dinner, so next time will do this for sure. The building is on the hill, so you can watch sunset and waves in a chair on the roof top - great time spending there. The hosts are so polite and welcoming that I will miss them.

Nice location and original atmosphere

“Le petit coin de paradis”

Le Hotel Kaouki is a unique stay. It is located a few meters from the beach in cozy Kaouki. We loved the rest and sloping down. There is no electricity and the hotel is atmospheric illuminated with candlelight. The hotel is well maintained and is very tastefully decorated. The owner and staff are very friendly. A nice place to unwind. I sincerely hope that the hotel will maintain and stand up to its character against the 'hip' trend. I hope this by extension for the whole of Kaouki.

The decor, the quiet and the location .

“A little bit of heaven”

Amazing and lovely people that run this beautiful hotel and restaurant. Rooms and hotel were very clean and beds were comfortable. We loved the rooftop terrace for watching stars in the night and the candlelight atmosphere in the whole place, as electricity (even for light) is just available in the main hall, the rest is done by candles which creates a beautiful atmosphere in the evening / night. Can also recommend the restaurant for dinner, maybe not the cheapest option in town but quality of the menu was very very good and if you're lucky the you'll get a little musical show from the owner ;-) Breakfast, like the dinner, was very good as well. For bikers: We could park our teneres within the compound which ensures a full safe parking!

A very special and friendly place. We enjoyed the beautiful candle light dinners in the restaurant and would definitely recommend to choose the half board option as the home cooked meals are highly recommendable. As there is electricity only in the reception area- where you have good wifi and can charge your phone- the rooms are lit with candles at night- you start to really relax after a couple of days. We had a great time and I wish we could have stayed longer!!!
