“Hidden gem for flexible travellers”

This place has some truly fantastic aspects, and a few points that could be improved. Overall, we would still recommend it, especially to flexible and easy-going travellers. Starting with the highlights: the location is absolutely amazing. The property is literally right on the sea. You just go down a small set of steps and you are on the beach. For surfers or anyone who wants to be as close to the ocean as possible, this is perfect. The building itself is very charming. You can tell it used to be a fisherman’s house that was later expanded and turned into a small guesthouse, which gives it a lot of character. The dinner was excellent. The tagine was very tasty, even though it was slightly overcooked and there wasn’t much sauce left to enjoy with bread. However, the grilled fish was probably the best grilled fish we have ever had in Morocco. We really appreciated the kindness and availability of the family. We arrived very late in the evening and still, the mother kindly prepared dinner for us from scratch around 10 pm, including a freshly cooked tagine and grilled fish. One of the young men helping the host was extremely kind and spoke excellent English, explaining a few things to us clearly. They also had some issues with electricity, and we really appreciated the honesty of the owner. The evening before our arrival, he warned us not to come because there was no electricity and very strong wind. Thanks to this transparency, we postponed our stay by one day. That level of honesty really made a positive impression on us. Considering the area near Sidi Ifni, which is becoming more touristy, this place still feels very authentic, calm and private. It is quite isolated, which we personally loved. As for the negative points, which prevented this stay from being a perfect 10: there was no hot water in our room. We had a private bathroom, but only cold water.

Amazing, remote location. The man looking after us was polite and tried hard. The veg tagine was yummy. Huge empty beach right beneath the place.

Beautiful views from the property and I had some delicious meals and was well attended to for most things I needed. The sound of the surf is so relaxing.

A perfect place to relax. We came here because we wanted peace and quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and nothing is ever a problem. The food was amazing! We stayed in a room with sea views and a private bathroom. The kids loved it too. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Location

Great location with access to a beautiful empty beach. Friendly hosts. Good food but a bit pricey. Electricity in the room is available only on certain hours, but it was no problem for us and had it's charm.

The view from the terrace was spectacular, the property is located right on the cost. The family was really nice,they prepared us a delicious dinner and breakfast. You feel like being part of their family. The electricity is generated by the aggregator, the hot water came from a solar panels so you need to communicate your needs with the family.

Hussein and his family could not have done more. So hospitable, friendly and helpful. We were there during Ramadan and the family shared the iftar meals at sunset, which was fantastic. A very short walk.... 50M ....takes you down onto the beach, sandy, a couple of miles long, on which, in three days we saw only two fishermen who went to tend their net. Pretty much idyllic.

A quirky but really lovely, friendly place right above the beach. Lovely owner and family. We met someone who stays there every Ramadan. Great fresh fish. Very quiet location.
