“Lovely stay in a great location with superb staff and facilities.”

The location was superb, walking distance to the old town. Great friendly staff including the cleaning staff, they were all excellent. Great food with access directly onto the beach. Free WiFi was appreciated. Everyone went above and beyond, it was early in the season so the weather was a bit chilly, still had an excellent week.

“Sunshine holiday”

The location was fabulous, right next to the best part of Side beach. The hotel seemed to be either recently refurbished or very well looked after. Was very clean. Breakfast was better than expected for a 3 star buffet. We had lunch in the hotel most days to take advantage of the 10% off offer for residents and everything that we ate was excellent.

“Great for a beach holiday”

Breakfast had quite a good variety but there were a few flies around. Room is beautiful if on the slightly small side. View from the restaurant is heavenly and nice unobtrusive music. Right on the beach and provides beach towels and a beach bag and plenty of beach loungers or pool loungers. Hotel has a little library which is always good and has bedside reading lights. Wife says it's a good hairdryer! Staff are very friendly and room is clean. Hotel restaurant has a good choice of menu - mezze is good value but main course portions are on the small side (a bit novo cuisine-style). We looked at the hotels on all sides after we arrived and thought this was the best one.

“Lots to like”

Great location, breakfast excellent, lots of choice, right on the beautiful sandy beach so beds and parasols free with the bonus of food and drink delivered to your sunbed, all staff very helpful and polite particularly the reception staff. On a long promenade with numerous bars and restaurants leading round to the old town and harbour.

We had a fantastic stay at Simus beach hotel the staff were exceptional, the hotel was spotless throughout, the food and the sunbeds on the beach are the best in Side! We couldn't recommend enough

“Very beautiful hotel”

The restaurant was very close to the beach with a beautiful view. The food was tasty and plenty for the breakfast. The rooms are looking exceptional.

We stayed in Simus for almost a week we had most chilled holiday. If you like relaxed beach holiday I would definitely recommend Simus. Staff goes beyond your expectation to make you as comfortable they can. Special shout to Ali he went above and beyond specially making our table look absolutely fantastic. We most certainly will return again

The location and the little ice cream shop about five minutes walk. The amazing sunset from the beach. How friendly the hotel staff was.

The hotel is cosy and in a good location. I loved the hotel restaurant and the service there was very good, they even agreed to make Turkish coffee for me for breakfast.

Breakfast was traditional Turkish breakfast. Quite simple, but well served: cucumbers peeled. One might expect a greater variety, but when asked, they also served extra Turkish coffee. The location of the restaurant, very nice and comfortable with seaview. Excellent service and very good food there.

sea front, big room, big bathroom, big balcony. Breakfast, fridge, beach sun lounger and AC at no extra cost, very good wifi. Very comfortable bed. Very clean, room was made everyday and towels (3 pp) changed every day. 1/2 hour walk from town centre harbour, pleasant walk along the pedestrian sea front. Very good value for money.

The Golden Star is a basic hotel BUT it’s in an excellent location, staff are really helpful and it was clean. We could not find fault with it and would book there again.
