“Wonderful, peaceful and tranquil escape into nature.”

Inkilas was the perfect retreat in nature, the tasteful and thoughtful touches, the exceptional amenities and clever use of space were nothing short of exceptional. We loved the quiet forest, the hammocks amongst the trees, the location in Labanoras Forest with gorgeous walks down to the lake, the birdsong, the evenings and the mornings with nothing to do except connect with nature. We will be back, thank you!

Peacefulness

The stay was incredible. The place is secluded enough to escape all city noise, yet easy to reach with clear, friendly, and genuinely helpful communication from the hosts. Check-in was effortless: everything was explained in advance, and you could arrive whenever it suited you, which added a welcome sense of freedom. The surroundings were exactly what you hope for in a quiet retreat. Silence, forest, and that crisp stillness when frost covers the trees, bushes, and grass. We even spotted wildlife traces—just footprints, but enough to remind you how far you are from the city rush. Inside, the comfort exceeded expectations. The bed was warm and comfortable, the housing spotless, and the overall atmosphere immediately cozy. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches: outdoor lights, tea, coffee, even honey, and a well-equipped wood-cabin aesthetic that felt intentional and harmonious. Firewood was prepared in advance (we only had to split it into smaller pieces), and the kitchen had everything we needed—more than enough, actually. There was even an outdoor grill in case the mood struck. We spent part of the weekend visiting the observatory, and the rest was devoted to slow, cozy activities: board games, some work (the connection was appropriately weak for a forest stay), long talks, wine, and just enjoying the peace. For us, the whole atmosphere was wonderfully romantic. All in all, it was a surprising and truly amazing weekend getaway—one we would happily repeat.

Everything was simply perfect – for those looking for peace and true relaxation, this is the best possible choice. In winter, the cozy atmosphere is especially enhanced by the small stove with a warm fire and the new sauna with a wonderful big and round window overlooking the winter forest. It truly makes you want to come back again and again :) The hosts are very friendly and respectful of privacy, yet always ready to help and answer any questions if needed.

“Hidden gem”

The cabin is hidden in the forest and allows you to enjoy nature at it’s best. Moreover it’s super comfy and has it all to make you stay cozy and as easy as possible. I got check in instructions day before, which was detailed and made it easy to find the place. The cabin is brand new, stylish and makes you feel like home. The kitchen has all amenities for cooking, complimentary coffee, tea, oil and spices. The bed is comfy and big enough for 2 people. You may enjoy outdoor terrace, use bonfire & bbq facilities or chill at hammock. The lake is around 15min walking and has public beach.

The place is super cozy. You will find everything you need for your stay (from kitchen tools to hygiene items). We enjoyed atmosphere both inside (such a lovely bed! And all the interior) and outside: swing by the trees and hammocks. We loved all the small details which added up a lot of charm to our stay.
