I was pleasantly surprised how well this government owned hotel was run, good communication with staff, helpful in any way. Restaurants left and right of the hotel, shopping and other restaurants around the corner, easy for sightseeing on foot or by Yandex taxi. There is not that much of sightseeing to do but for two days that will cover it .

“Great hotel in Shymkent”
We stayed at this hotel for a 2-day business trip and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent, making travel around the city very convenient. The rooms are spacious, bright, and the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, which is perfect for resting after a long day. The breakfast selection was good. A great bonus is the nearby 'Altyn Tapchan' café, which is perfect for both lunch and dinner. Highly recommended for business travelers!

Nice room, comfortable bed, very clean room and excellent breakfast (at the price point). It is a modern hotel. Apparently it has water slides that I did not manage to try. Overll: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (at the price point)
