This stay was genuinely odd and disappointing. I should have researched better, as the property was in the middle of nowhere, a stretch to say it was in Shkoder. There was no reception, so after wandering aimlessly we had to ask a waiter, who barely spoke, to let us into our A‑frame cabin. The cabin itself was a sweat box. The air‑conditioning was temperamental, and we ended up dragging bedding downstairs to make up the sofa bed just to get some rest. Unsurprisingly, we had a terrible night’s sleep and left after one night to book elsewhere. Basic amenities were lacking, even water wasn’t provided in the room, we had to ask for it. The whole experience felt bizarre, impersonal, and isolating. To be fair, the grounds were beautiful, though a little creepy with the odd statues scattered around. Being on a lake, however, meant mosquitos were everywhere. We ate at the restaurant since there was nowhere else nearby. The fish was lovely, but serving one potato between two people felt stingy. Overall, this was not a pleasant stay. I would not recommend it and certainly would never return.

The chalet was well designed and comfortable with a great bed, balcony, private seating by the pond. A really nice setting.

It was very clean, modern and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recomend.

“A lovely hidden gem!”

The appartment was spacious and very comfortable. It had A/C that worked very well, a nice shower, comfortable sofa, smart TV. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was delicious - we ate 3 meals here and were very impressed with the service and food quality. We did a day trip to Komani River which was lovely and a must-do if you visit.

This place is magical. Even better than the photos. The most stunning and ambient setting, Comfy beds and lovely bathroom. Restaurant food was the best we’ve had in Albania and our waiter was so kind and helpful and let us practice our Spanish! (sorry I can’t remember how to spell his name but think he was Serjat?) We stayed for 2 nights and used as a base to visit the Shala River and Shkoder. would recommend 100%!

I will say that the main positive point and that it was a pleasant surprise was the space. The whole surrounding of the houses, in wood, is very pleasant, despite a style that transmits us the session of something old, in decay, and with 30 years (but has 10). The restaurant in the space was also good avoiding having to leave. The wooden house was good, with good conditions to relax and make your food.

“Beautiful place to stay”

We stayed in the luxury 2 bed apartment with the hot tub in the room. It was a gorgeous place, felt very homely and cosy, breakfast was delicious and served on our private table by Shabban who was very accommodating. We had a car to get into Skhoder which was ideal and also ate at the restaurant on the complex.
