“Nice stay right in the heart of Shkoder.”
The hotel was in such an amazing location. The staff were very kind. The female receptionist lady in particular. The staff were kind enough to help cover my bus fare on my way out because I was short on cash. And they were always checking in to see if I needed anything.

“Good value for money.Came for one night,extended for another one.”
Perfect location.few minutes from walking street.Try restaurant KONAK.Good wifi,simple but nice breakfast.Took LEK 1000 bus at 09:20 am from Tirana airport.Bus stop near buy.Also buses to Podgorica,Budva

I love the location of this place, so easy to find restaurant, bus stop to take tour or bus to Montenegro. Is so quiet. I slept super. But the highlight is Moly, she is super sweet and helpful person. She has a big heart, is a happy person to make your day a better day. Places you will find a lot, but Moly, just one in Ideal hotel.

We had a wonderful one-night getaway at Hotel Ideal in Shkodër. The staff were absolutely wonderful – friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. The room was spotless, with a super clean bathroom, and the cosy beds and pillows made for a perfect night’s sleep. What made it even better was the genius booking offer we got – the value for money was simply amazing compared to what we received. It was the perfect base to explore the vibrant city of Shkodër. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great hospitality at a fantastic price!

“Great location, but disappointing overall”
The hotel is only a 2-minute walk from the main square, which is great. But unfortunately, that’s the only positive. The room was very old and poorly designed. The bathroom was tiny, with no separate shower area — you have to shower right next to the toilet, with no curtain or partition. There was not even a small fridge in the room. The staircase was extremely narrow and steep, which made carrying luggage very difficult and even dangerous. There is no elevator, which is a serious downside. I also booked a tour to Theth through the hotel. Due to a language barrier, there was a misunderstanding and I ended up on a tour with no guide — hiking alone. Be careful if you’re booking a tour through the hotel. Double-check everything. For the price, I would definitely choose a better hotel or rent an apartment next time.
