“Nice place to stay”

Cosy place in the middle of the city. Friendly staff and good restaurant.

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only aspect we did not particularly enjoy was the live music in the hotel courtyard during the evening. Guests looking for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere at night may find this disturbing. We were traveling with children, and the noise from the live music made it more difficult for them to rest. However, for guests who enjoy live entertainment and a lively atmosphere, this may be a positive feature.

“Slice of "old Albania" worth experiencing amongst so many characterless new hotels”

There are plenty of new characterless "designer" hotels in Shkoder but we're please we stayed here. Should have also stayed for dinner which is stand-out quality but explored the city and ate elsewhere. Don't do it. Eat there.

Interesting older property with various additions completed in a similar style. A lot of effort has gone into creating an authentic atmosphere that really works. Because of this it’s a busy place and feels quite the tourist destination, some will like very much. Good dinner, but relatively expensive. Breakfast was plentiful and self service. Evening entertainment was a bonus.

“Traditional house with stylish comfortable rooms and friendly staff”

The hotel had a lot of character as it is an old property with a lovely courtyard and flowers. The room was gorgeous in the old style but with modern bathroom and an amazing bathroom door with a mirror on one side and a carpet on the other. The beds and pillows were super comfortable memory foam. The breakfast and restaurant were very good. Dinner is in the courtyard and they have a singer every night with dancing on Saturday night, a lot of fun.

Interesting historic building. The food is excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant on music nights is great. Staff are friendly and attentive.

“Combines Albanian traditions with modern comforts”

We chose this hotel for its traditional buildings and decor and were very happy with it. We enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard and having dinner with live traditional music in the restaurant. The breakfasts were generous with lots of choice including some local dishes. It was helpful to have on site parking. The tourist areas and pedestrian streets were 10 minutes walk away

“Lovely Hotel, Very welcoming and great staff”

Lovely traditional hotel with a nice atmosphere throughout. the rooms were a good size and had everything you needed and very comfortable. The restaurant served really good food over open fire and at the weekends there was music and everyone was up dancing. The local wine was very good and didn’t give us a hangover at all despite drinking a fair bit. Breakfast was plenty. All in all a good stay

I have stayed at Hotel Tradita twice, during two different periods. Once during the summer and once during the winter/end-of-year period. Both stays were excellent. The food, the rooms, the staff service, the ambiance, the music, the staff’s recommendations, and their helpfulness were all outstanding. I really love the atmosphere and the overall vibe at Hotel Tradita. Whenever I am in Shkodra and not staying overnight, I still make sure to visit at least for lunch.
