Yukiko san is really an awesome host. She's so kind and helps you with all your needs, even before you ask. The house is marvellous, a perfectly balanced mix of japanese and western style. The breakfast was great. I'm looking forward to coming back to Shikoku and staying here again

It was immaculate, exquisite and cannot fault it! The breakfast was divine and the host very attentive and meticulous.

The guesthouse was beautifully decorated with the owners personal treasures. It was done up so elegantly, with beautiful ceramics around the house, scented candles, subtle strings of jazz music in the corridor. We had requested the family meal for dinner on one night and the Japanese course menu on another. The food at this guesthouse was hands down the best we had in our month long stay in Japan. The Japanese course menu was sublime. The beaches nearby were an unexpected gem. We werent expecting to find the surf culture and van life in this tiny corner of Japan. Highly recommended, it was the highlight of our tour of Japan.

The hostess was very welcoming and very helpful, this is small town japan so local knowledge was very useful. The prepared food both breakfast and dinner was exceptional, we both enjoyed the variety and quality. There was a very good local onsen in the town.

Place to go if you want to experience japanese hospitality! Yukiko, the owner, is very welcoming, nice and super helpful. The house is very beautiful, you'll find japanese-style rooms with tatami floors and it is super clean. Yukiko also is a great cook, her meals are incredible, always fresh and prepared so nicely. Make sure to have dinner as well or you don't want to skip that!

Beautiful property and amazing hospitality! My host Yukiko went above and beyond to ensure I arrived at house. I was stuck on my cycling trip about 30km out from her house in the middle of an unexpected thunderstorm and she drove all the way to pick me up. I am forever grateful!!! Delicious dinner was then served and I enjoyed every single course!

This was our most rememberable stay during two months of traveling in Japan. Mitsuka is a lovely host. Her hospitality is outstanding, her Japanese breakfast is gorgeous, her house beautifully furnished and decorated, the room offered to guests is generous. We very much enjoyed being her guests.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at guesthouse Mitsuka. The host was very friendly and a great cook! If you stay at her guesthouse we recommend to eat there too. Its a treat. The food is refined, original, local and the best we have tasted in Japan.

Yukiko the owner is a very kind person. Speaks english very well. I enjoyed the breakfast very much. The house has tatami-rooms. There is a common living room available that can ve shared by all guests.
