Owners were incredibly friendly, they gave tips about what to visit and where super accommodating. The restaurant served amazing food with a beautiful view on the lake. Dogs and cats were very sweet. Room was plenty big, beds were incredibly comfortable!

The hotel is located on the shore of the lake, in a very beautiful environment. The owners are kind and hospitable, the food is fresh. Any requests that arise are fulfilled to the extent possible.

Perfect location for this wonderful hotel restaurant with astounding views above Shkoder lake. The area is very calm while being 10-15min away from Shkoder in car. Many wonderful private beach all around. The staff and the family running the place are wonderful, always very helpful and made me feel at home. The rooms were very nice and clean with wonderful lights at sunrise hour. You can also enjoy the bar/restaurant downstairs which serve delicious Albanese food.

The owner cooks herself and really great! She prepared us delicious salads, pasta, fish and shrimps! You have to try the shrimps in the sauce, they are fabulous!

If you want to experience some genuine Albanian hospitality, then you simply have to visit Il Tramonto. The owners, Klijtim and Rina, are the most fabulous hosts who make it their mission to ensure that you are happy, relaxed and have a wonderful time. They are warm, friendly and very welcoming...and they also provide absolutely delicious food (and home-made raki!). The view from the terrace is gorgeous as well...looking across the lake as the sun sets over the mountains in the distance. They were also very kind when I was unwell on one of the days we were there and, unprompted, went to the pharmacy to get medication for me...so kind. Lovely people and and a superb location.

“Amazing place and people”

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, treating you as members of their family. The hospitality and food were exceptional, as we ate in the restaurant every night we were there. We did not have a hire car and it’s quite a remote location, but the hosts drove us into Shkodër twice without charge which was really nice. We also enjoyed a lot of free homemade Raki, which if like us you have not heard of, then you will be a connoisseur by the end of your stay as the host was passionate.

Very friendly hosts. They look after their guests very lovingly and individually. I particularly liked the view from the restaurant terrace during dinner and breakfast (by the way: delicious food!). Strong recommendation!

Location is amazing, very cute hotel, breathtaking view. The owners were wonderful and made us feel as part of the family. They answered every request and treated my dog with love and kindness as she was their own

They welcomed us very warmly and immediately offered us fresh sage. We loved the view, the rooms, the restaurant area, the garden, everywhere. They told us that this was our second home and we truly felt at home. They had to leave early and they told us without hesitation that we could leave at any time we wanted and leave the keys at the door when we left. I waited until my holiday was over to make a comment because I took a Balkans tour and I have to say that it was the best among all the hotels I stayed in.

The host were superfriendly. You are more a guest at their home than a cliënt. Diner was amazing. The wife is a chief and the husband is genereus with the raki. The pictures on booking.com are the real thing.
