Lovely experience. Beautiful view out to the ocean and mountains in the distance from the open-air onsen and rooms. Reasonably quiet in the onsens even at peak times. Delicious dinner and breakfast. You will be full. I got up early for the onsen before sunrise, lovely, and I saw a fox near a tree that reminded me of Ghost of Tsushima video game. By far one of my favourite experiences in Japan. Lovely staff. And so affordable for what you get. Rooms are spacious as well. The dining hall, is well spaced out between tables and they play calming music throughout.

Perfect location to just relax and take a good bath in their onsen. The stuff was very friendly and accommodating. The view from the hotel on the ocean is stunning.

“Unforgettable memory in Hokkaido”

This old style Japanese hotel is perfect for hot spring experience with nice ocean view and the room ( 101 ) also has a wonderful golf-like grass and part ocean view .The front staff is very polite to answer any questions and meet you request . We had booked a room massage and it is nice too though only one lady could service for us .

Very nice shuttle to pick me up from station, staff was very kind and accommodating, onsen was very good has deer in the back you can watch while open air bathing, would recommend! Room was also very nice with a great view.

Both dinner and breakfast were amazing, thoroughly Japanese and beautifully prepared and served. The meals were a real treat. The position of the hotel is isolated on a rise, with a stunning view over the ocean and a park on the other side. There was a nice walk to a black sand beach through forest. The room was very large and the onsen was good and warm. Also the sauna (included in the price)

Incredible ocean views from the rooms and outdoor Onsen (which is tattoo friendly). One staff member was superbly kind, she has only been working there 5 days and spoke excellent English. She checked us in, and attended to us at dinner. We’re sad we didn’t catch her name to compliment her service to the owners. Amazing wagyu dinner. The building and furniture are a bit run down but it’s charming and clean, so that’s excusable.

Outdoor onsen is beautiful, especially during the snow. Staff are superb and helpful. Shuttle bus service to:from Noboribetsu station makes the trip so easy. Room is quite old yet spacious. You can have extra towel, pillow and blanket from the cupboard and amenities room. Halfboard is great too!

“Amazing value for money and great food.”

This was my favourite stay on this trip so far. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me even when I said I wasn't able to eat seafood they prepared a breakfast without it when normally it is the same breakfast for everyone. The food was so tasty as well with a lot of variety and the dinner changed every night I was there. The amount was enough to leave me super full after every meal. The Onsen on the property was amazing. It had a carbonated water that was pretty unique and felt great and the temperature of the outdoor onsen was perfect with an amazing view of the coast and snow. The staff will organise to pick you up and drop you off from the station and the walk isn't too bad either. Some reviews complain that the facilities feel dated but for the price I don't think you could expect any better it was amazing value for money for what I paid. I even extended my stay it was that good.

It’s a retreat where are slightly cut off from the noise and bustle of town life. A perfect place to relax in the hotel’s indoor and open air onsen. The meal set up is amazing, an array of tasty dishes - I went for the seafood option - served up by very kind and attentive staff.
