Only 1.5 km from JR Shiojiri Train Station, Hotel Route-Inn Shiojiri features simple yet modern accommodations and a free breakfast for all guests. It was a good 1 night stay between locations, the room is clean, simple and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful! The breakfast was nice and tasty!

“Excellent stay”
To no one's surprise, a Japanese hotel is super cleanly and orderly. The Route Inn gives you the option of having a light daily cleaning and a full daily cleaning. I opted for the light cleaning, since I'm not a messy person, and I was only staying for 4 days. The breakfast provided was also fantastic. Served in a buffet style, the hotel restaurant provided a variety of both Western style and Japanese style breakfast foods.

“Laid back night in Shiojiri”
The bed is comfortable and there is complementary coffee in the lobby. Bathroom is clean and water is sufficiently hot.

“Everything was fine, however don't rely on the WiFi”
