The staffs are very kindly. We can leave our luggage after checkout, so we can go around the city at ease. breakfast is good.

“A cheap way to explore Wakayama”
This hotel ist very much okay for the price asked. With the price there is a free breakfast included, which makes the offer even more enticing. The rooms are fine. There is both a supermarket and a combini directly across from the hotel. Additionally there are quite a few restaurants and Izakayas nearby. The hotel is about a 10 Minute walk from the station, however is also easily reached by bus. The busses stopping nearby also run to Hongu, if you want to visit the shrines there.

“Passable, but we expected better - ventillation in the room must be fixed”
The room was really spacious, especially considering Japanese standards. The staff was mostly helpful, while not all of them could communicate in English effectively, we managed with our very very basic Japanese and their very basic English. The price was surprisingly low.

“Ok for an overnight stay”
The rooms are a bit shabby to be honest. Not very clean. Cobweb in the corner by the curtain, spotted walls, tears in the tapestry, flaked bath tub and once the mirror was foggy, one could tell that the mirror had just been swiped over in a hurry. There's also a very hard bed (even by Japanese standards). For a cheap place to sleep, sure. But could not recommend it for much else.

“A nice option for a fair price.”
The hotel is not as old as some write in reviews. We were pleasantly surprised that there was an opportunity to rent bicycles for free and gladly used this service to get to the ocean and then to the supermarket.
