“Perfect day for a few days of absolute relaxation”
It is a wonderful Onsen hotel in the heart of Nagano. The people working there a wonderful, helpful, the politeness is beyond every standard, even for Japan. Thank you very much for the wonderful time we had, the high level breakfast and dinner, perfect support of the staff, and the Relaxing and quiet Rooms with the outside private onsen.

Clean traditional Japanese room with nice onsen facilities. There is typical separate gender onsen and also a mixed gender so couples can meet during their onsen bathe (proper attire provided for mixed bathe). Meal package was a 12 course meal and a hearty breakfast seated in private room. On top of it all, staff provided fantastic service. Great hospitality!

“Excellent place if you want to watch stars far away from the crowds”
Excellent Ryokan with a nice Onsen, very friendly staff and a very spacious traditional room. Because of the distant location you should take a look at the sky at midnight and watch the stars.

“Amazing traditional ryokan experience”
The staff, the facilities, the cave onsen and the food were all amazing. If there is a downside, it is that there is more food than we could eat.
