Yas is a very kind and hospitable host who has converted this place into a lovely ryokan. It was a great place for us cyclists to stop on the shimanami kaido. Yuge island is a beautiful island and we really enjoyed exploring the small Japanese town this place was in.

Lovely homestay! My friend and I stayed here recently and were so happy with our stay! tokonoma was cozy, clean, simple and a perfect stay after a long day of cycling! The host was also very kind and welcomed us when we arrived! The kitchen facilities were a great addition! Would definitely come back!!

“Wonderful experience”

It's one of the best guesthouses I have stayed at. It is a traditional Japanese house renovated thoughtfully. I wish I had stayed longer.

The house is very clean, beautiful in Japanese style and the bed is really comfortable! Moreover, the owner is so kind and took care of me when I was sick in foreign country. I got serious diarrhea and kept vomiting on the day we should check out. I was too sick to continue my biking journey. The owner kindly let me sleep in the room for extra 3 hours until I was vomiting blood. Then he helped me call the ambulance and I was sent to the hospital safely. I am so grateful to the kind and helpful owner.

Traditional Japanese style guesthouse, with access to kitchen and bathroom facilities. Host made good suggestions for eating out We stayed one night as part of s cycling tour of the islands

Yas was super useful in helping us finding a place for dinner and was very welcoming when we reached the guest house

“Quiet and beautiful vacation home”

The house was very spacious and clean (also the room and the Japanese style bathroom.) There were facilities which were necessary for my stay (washing machine, fridge, kitchen, good wifi.) The host was very friendly and helpful. :) I biked around different places in Kamijimacho and all the people I met on the way were very friendly and helpful. A quiet and beautiful place.

The room was a clean, well-kept traditional Japanese room with dedicated storage (outside) for bikes and an equipped kitchen for use. Perfect for those discovering Kamijima by bike.

“Great place to stay while biking Yumeshima”

The host was super nice and knowledgeable. Introduced the area well, including the great day public bath and local restaurants. The house was super well updated and maintained. The weather and temperature was great when I was there and I could sleep very well after biking around the island. It was very close to the local beach and shrine. The kitchen had everything needed.

Owner's English is very good. This island is quite peaceful. I enjoy the time to stay here. I don't know how many rooms it has. But only me in the house at that day. Everything is good. I enjoy the peaceful time.

Great stop for Shimanami Kaido if you go a bit off the standard route on Yuge Island. Kind owner, speaks very well English and room is good.
