Gorgeous location and lovely staff. I'd booked breakfast for two but ended up travelling solo so was given free dinner instead - which was absolutely superb. Lovely place to stay and will come back if I am in the area again!

The view, the staff, the style, the rotenburo (open-air bath on the rooftop. It is used by man/women on alternate days). the breakfast. The rooms are simple, and old, the hotel is not shiny and luxutious, but it represents the local Japanese atmosphere and tradition. The staff was so kind!

“Staff doing their best in a run-down building.”
Lots of staff. They all recognized us and called us by name, every time we met. If you like to be next to the ocean, this is as close as it gets. The curtains blocked light well. The rooftop outdoor pool has a great view. View from the dining area was also lovely. The front desk clerk was courteous and professional. You can buy ice-cream (soft type in a cone with a variety of flavours to chose from) after dinner. Dinner was fine, with lots of fresh seafood, not too much. There is a toy corner. The pool is most suitable for children (lots of families with young kids/babies were there). There is a swimming beach nearby.
