“Awesome stay”

The whole experience was very personalised and welcoming. They had the names of the guest written at the dining hall and on the table. The view of the cafe was spectacular. Even the entrance and the lobby had very cute Japanese tanuki characters. I really love the vibes of the hotel. Onsen was good too and not too hot. The staff was very friendly and gave me 2 origami ( a crane and a samurai hat) seeing how I was going around taking photos and being very curious about everything. The dinner and breakfast was also very good with lots of expensive ingredients. It was like Japanese fine dining.

The staff service is amazing. We came back at night and it was pouring rain, when we parked our car and opened our doors., there was a staff member with umbrellas which she opened to cover us from the rain before opening her own umbrella. This level of service was outstanding and made me rank their level of service as the best we received while we were in Japan for the three weeks. The food for breakfast and dinner were amazing and the most memorable. The variety and change in menus were also a nice surprise to us. We enjoyed the food immensely and hats off to the chef that prepared the meals. The waiters that served us our food were also top notch. Their attention and service were commendable.

Just a beautiful experience, I only wish we'd stayed longer. Magnificent views of the mountains from the public lounger where you can enjoy fresh coffee. Self-contained facilities in the form of a mini street. Unique outside public onsen and dining hall. We had the stay and breakfast option, which allowed us to enjoy local restaurants and drink.

The traditional Japanese style rooms were great. The onsen and food were delightful and the staff was extremely kind to us.

“I think day trip is good, but if stayover very expensive not worth it”

Room is clean, got elevator at least no need to move luggages up and down the stairs.

The room was enormous and had a jaw dropping view of the mountains. The hotel is in a good position relative to the town so fewer hills to climb each day.

The view from our room and the lounge/cafe area was spectacular. The dinner and breakfast were both great. The hotel is dated but in a charming way. They switch the onsens so men and women can try both, I loved the open air one the most.

Great location, quiet, very easy access to mountain haruna and location for those initial D fans. With great parking. Very spacious room with a nice bath. Extra pillow in the cupboard was nice. Sweet Dihatsu midget rickshaw in the foyer 👌🏻 Would definitely stay again.

Staffs were very helpful. Location was ok, just 10mins walk from the Ikaho onsen stone steps bus terminal. Hotel room was big and clean. Love the view from my room window.

Possibility to use onsen. A good mountain view.

Great view on the mountains from my room. Close to the stone steps of Ikaho. I also enjoyed the onsen, the one in the evening and the other in the morning.

Everything. Charming hôtel with breathtaking views, incredible onsen and lovely coffee shop. Staff was great, WE have really enjoyed our stay. By the way the village is also charming. Highly recommended.
