“Short drive into town”

Great location and lovely building We stayed 3 nights and the room was not cleaned during our stay

Dinner was absolutely wonderful – delicious, generous, and clearly prepared with care. The whole property is beautifully maintained, with great attention to detail in the garden, which creates a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The location is also excellent, offering both convenience and tranquillity. Above all, the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly at home throughout our stay.

I loved everything at Ruh Achari. I definitely recommend the place!

Just across the albanian church in the heart of the picturesque village. You can only see walls and big doors by walking thru the narrow streets. There are no windows looking outside the house. So, you can see how they look inside if you stay in one of them, like Ruh Achari! Very friendly personnel, very clean room, tasty dinner, comfy bed.

“Nice guesthouse”

Great location in the village, very nice owner despite the language barrier, nice common room where the meals are served. Cute rooms with cosy feeling.

Everything was very nice, the restored house is beautiful and welcoming. Arzu is a great lady ,always ready to help with a smile . Location in the old village of Kis is so good , I decided to stay a extra 2 nights. Loved the atmosphere of the house and village so peaceful. Thank you

“Must do in Azerbaijan - do not miss this !”

Arzu is an amazing host - the property is a haven away from the hustle bustle of Baku. I think anyone who goes to Azerbaijan should visit this property just to experience Azerbaijani hospitality. The food, the quiet, the warmth of the village is unlike anything you would have experienced. It’s the authentic experience of being in Azerbaijan. Arzu picked me from the bus station, dropped me back and we chatted the whole time I was there using translation because it was so much fun!

“A little nest in the beautiful village of Kish !”

The guesthouse is so cozy and well decorated, I felt directly confortable. Arzu and her assistant were very helpful and kind, they really made it easy for me. The village is very charming and with direct access to the mountain. I can only recommend 🙏

“A true paradise!”

This is a little paradise where you can see that everything is done with great care and love. It is really quiet, the air is fresh - you can truly relax and wind down. We had dinner, tea and breakfast. Everything was homemade and super good. Arzu is a lovely host. We can really recommend the place. And if you have time, go for a walk and hike through the village. It is beautiful. You should also visit the private photo gallery Yer.

Must visit, it will make your trip 10 times better, definitely better than any hotel.

“Perfect getaway in the mountains”

This property is in a really beautiful place, in the mountains. It is a perfect getaway spot - peaceful, with unique garden and with very open and helpful host.

A lovely place in the village. Amazing food. The host asked me if I would like dinner and I had 2 of the best home cooked meals ever.

“Treasure in Sheki”

I'd say Ruh Achari is the best option in Sheki if you're looking for peace and warm Sheki vibe. It's around 200 years old building with newly restored facilities where you'll see art and azerbaijani spirit all around which author is Mrs. Arzu, the owner. Surrounded by the Caucasus mountains and located 960m above sea level in Kish village, you'll feel the fresh air and taste local cuisine. Thanks to Arzu that made our stay better than we expected.

“Tradition, hospitality. Genius loci.”

Old, mountain village. Narrow stone street's. Small parking 50m away, small shop with food and other necessities like local wine etc.. Historical church 100 meters away from this very traditional house with small internal garden, cafe, summer kitchen... Very clean, nice rooms. Arzu is a super host. She will advice and has answer for all questions🙂. Very good breakfast. .
