I stay at the Central Hostel every year during my visits to Sheki. As a foreigner, I can recommend everybody this hostel. Everything you need is around and very close.

Superb location right in the heart of Sheki, cant ask for better. All the major attractions (Palace of Shaki Khans, Karavansaray, Tazar Bazaar) within walking distance. Cafe downstairs is nice with good breakfast for just 4 manat. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Daşqın, the manager, was exceptionally professional and helpful. The hostel was very clean. The 2 female showers seemed limited but I never had any issues. One of the shower heads needs to replaced or repaired. The young lady at the hostel cafe served fantastic coffee

The staff changed my address (for my visa) without me knowing it! I ended up with a huge fine because of this!!

This is a modern hostel with a lovely entrance and a bar offering very reasonable prices—perfect for a quick bite without leaving. I stayed in a twin room with an amazing roommate, which made for a very comfortable and restful night. The beds were spacious, the sheets spotless, and the room clean. So, highlights include comfortable beds, good cleanliness, and a dedicated female-only area, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this hostel.

Staff at this hotel are really friend and treat me like a brother. They are really knowledgeable and they guided me with the AutoBus routes and everything.

“cheap and ok for a night”

the hostel is in the city center, which is great to be honest, common areas were not clean. the coffee place next door is very nice and modern, but the service was incredibly slow. the check in was also very slow. regarding the other guests: i found it enormously annoying that they were unclean and super loud: the hostel should have a set of rules and ensure they are respected (for instance no lights nor loud noises after midnight).

I find Sheki as the most charming and cozy town of Azerbaijan. Nature around Sheki is picturesque. It’s my second visit of Sheki and second stay at the Central Hostel. Bus station: I walked 20 minutes from Sheki bus station to the hostel. What is around: Grocery store, cloth shops, ATM/bank, pharmacy, park, taxi, café/restaurants are around the hostel. Sightseeing places: All Sheki sightseeing places are also in a 30-40 minutes of walking distance. My room: I was provided with clean bed sheets and towels in the 4-male dorm room. Each bed has own lamps and shelf. Privacy curtains for beds would be much appreciated. Air conditioner and lockers are in the room. Bed sheets and towels are changed after each traveler’s leave. Kitchen: Hostel kitchen has everything needed for cooking and storing food. Thank you for the electric kettle in the kitchen. Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi worked bad/so-so in the hostel this time compared to last year. It was on and off from time to time. Cleaning: Hostel is very clean as cleaning lady cleans every day. Laundry: I don’t know if hostel provides laundry services as I rinsed my clothes in the shower and hanged to dry in the attic near kitchen. Room pictures match with what I saw in booking.com. Hostel staff is very helpful and customer-oriented. It would be great if they could have a bed to sleep during night time. I see reception guys sit on the chair during night time. They need to have some rest and normal sleep. I can recommend Central Hostel in Sheki.

I spent 3 days in the magnificent Sheki, staying at the Central Hostel. This hostel is a practically new, comfortable, and super clean accomodation. However, the strength of this accommodation lies in its staff, who are always kind, helpful, and capable of assisting travelers with their needs. In particular, Tarlan was always very kind and attentive. And what about Dashkin? Dashkin was incredibly prompt in resolving every type of need, polite, and very well-prepared. If I had to nitpick, I would say there isn't a kitchen where travelers can prepare their own food. However, the Central Cafe inside the hostel offers good and healthy dishes, also suitable for vegetarians. Hello everyone and thank you!

Best hostel to stay in Sheki. Great facilities, nice cafe and very helpful staff. A stray dog bit me in a park in Sheki and one of the staff was kind enough to accompany me to the hospital and help with all the language translation and getting the rabies vaccine. Sheki is a lovely little town but be careful of the dogs!

Definietly the best hostel which i stayed at during my trip around Azerbejian. Really clean and comfortable, stuff is very helpful and know a basic english, which is not obvious in the country. Food in hostel's coffe shop is tasty and cheap
