I booked this room “just to sleep”, because plane landed at 21:30, so arrival to any hotel would be around 22:30, and at 6:00 i was supposed to go on excursion, so i just need a clear room with air conditioning, shower and no insects. The room met all my expectations, for 12 euros per person the room is perfect. Besides, in these 12 euros included also “sandwiches” - some local food, do not know the name, but really delicious. P. S. On arrival i visited local fish restaurant Farez, 20 minutes walk from apartment, highly recommended all, except calmare in tomato sauce

“Excellent overall!”

Excellent overall! The most important is that it is clean and tidy. I had the opportunity to met the guy that cares for the facility and gave him congratulations. The facility is located very close to Watania bus station. The Old Town, Naama Bay and Hadaba with its wonderful beaches are not far from the facility. The area around has a lot of interesting shops and restaurants. The property owner is always ready to give guidance.

“Great pocket-friendly spot in Sharm for beach and excursions.”

I really enjoyed my 9-night stay in Morning Star Guest House this month. It is a very peaceful place but also accessible by bike or taxi for beaches and attractions. All tour operators will recognise your location so you can easily book excursions with pick up in front. Shops (Carrefour and local market with fresh products) are in walking distance. There is an option to arrange transfer to/from airport with additional fee as well as bike rental free of charge. The area is very safe and gives opportunity to observe everyday life in Egypt (yes, it is an attraction itself for people from Europe!). The cleanliness in the room and common areas is fine. The entire experience is completed by staff (host Michele, chauffeur and housekeepers) who are always available to help, advice and...sometimes positively surprise you!

A lovely guesthouse in Sharm in a remarkably quiet yet central location. The rooms are very clean and well-furnished. The staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful – you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The beautiful garden is particularly noteworthy, inviting you to relax and creating a truly pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone who prefers not to stay in a large resort. You can borrow bicycles for free.

The hotel owner is an incredibly kind and responsive person! He’s always available and ready to help with anything. There are bicycles on the property that guests can use completely free of charge - a great bonus! We rode around the city, and people even asked us where we rented such bikes 😊 The house is always very clean, with daily housekeeping. The rooms are cozy, everything works perfectly, and the place is kept in excellent condition. The price is more than reasonable for such a high level of service. I definitely recommend staying here! Don’t think twice - you’ll love it! 🌟

“Good Location for your DIY city tour”

The location is good, it is near from the Go Bus station, and near to the famous tourist spots. We did our city tour using their free bicycle and it is such a good experience. We have stayed here mainly for those 2 reasons. Thanks to the host Michele for being extra helpful to us during our stay.

““A perfect place to truly live like a local and experience Sharm El Sheikh from the inside”

I recently stayed at Morning Star Guesthouse in Sharm El Sheikh—and it’s exactly the kind of place you hope for when traveling on a budget with heart. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome. The host (Michele) is absolutely outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready with helpful local tips. In fact, he even picked me up from the bus station at night and guided me toward the best snorkeling spots and restaurants.  The rooms are comfortable, clean, and cool—especially important in Sharm’s heat—with good air conditioning, and even mosquito nets in some windows. Bathrooms are shared in some rooms, but for me that wasn’t an issue; everything was well-maintained.  Some of the standout amenities: • Free bicycles to explore the area (a really fun bonus)  • A shared kitchen, so you can make your own meals if you want to save money or just cook something simple.  • Wonderful outdoor space: garden, terrace, places to sit and relax.  The location is very convenient: close enough to markets, bus stations, local transport, and eateries—yet still calm enough that you can unwind in peace.  Value for money here is excellent. You’re not paying for luxury, but what you are getting is something honest and welcoming, comfortable and clean, with genuine warmth from the host.

IT IS A BUDGET PLACE LOCATED IN RATHER EXPENSIVE SHARM EL SHEIK AND SO DO NOT EXCEPT HIGH STANDARDS. THE HOST IS INDEED CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR STAY WHETHER AIR CONDITION PROBELMS TO EVEN FINDING THE GUEST HOUSE OR MAKING SURE YOU ARE NOT CHEATED BY AIRPORT TAXIS DRIVERS. THIS IS COMMENDABLE!
