“Comfortable 4-Star Stay”

The hotel offers a highly reliable shuttle service between the property and the Utoro Onsen Bus Terminal/Tourist Information Centre, making transportation very convenient. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the onsen facilities were excellent, featuring multiple jacuzzi-style pools for relaxation. Both breakfast and dinner were outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options. The complimentary free-flow beverages, including sake, were a wonderful added touch that enhanced the dining experience. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Loved the onsen—the experience is a highlight. The view from the room is simply incredible, and it made relaxing for three nights feel effortless. Overall, it’s a wonderfully lovely place to stay: comfortable, peaceful, and perfect for a proper rest with breathtaking scenery.

“good for a short stay”

The hotel was nice, and our room was big and clean. We were a little worried knowing from the other reviews it is an old, outdated building, but is was ok! If you want to explore Shiretoko National Park, this is a very good location, and if you are a fan of onsen baths, this is the perfect place to stay. There are plenty of activities to enjoy between hikes or when the weather isn't suitable for being outdoors. The souvenir shop has a lot of goodies and great things to choose from, and it is a great place to find a gift for someone. The beds and pillows are hard (common in Japan) but, surprisingly, we slept very well. The duvet is very warm and cosy.

“Large hotel with good rooms with views and excellent onsen”

Great location with excellent onsen - views. Its close by car to the Shiretoko National Park. Has large, good expansive onsen with ocean views. Our room was large, comfortable with views over the ocean. Food is good - busy with evening meal but good options with breakfast also. Lots of car parking right out front. We enjoyed our 2 night stay by combining trip to the Park with 2x per day use of the onsen. Limited food options in the village so half board at the hotel suited us despite the cost.

The room that I got has a very nice view. I can see the floating ice from my room. Spacious onsen place and the breakfast is super good. There is a bus in front of the hotel connecting to the main station and Memanbetsu airport which is quite convenient.

“Amazing view, delicious buffet and huge onsen”

The Onsen facilities are excellent. They got a great bathing area, different kinds of onsens and lots of areas for relaxation. The view from the room was amazing, you can see the whole ocean with floating ice from the room during winter season. The buffet dinner was amazing. They got seafood don, ramen, tempuras, hotpot, sashimi, hot food, cold dishes, desserts… hips of choices that you can’t finish all in one night.

The dinner was amazing: wide range offered in buffet style with life counters as well. Everything delicious. A bit overwhelming but that’s a luxury problem. The staff is very friendly. The Onsen is a really big one. Location offers great view for sunset and is a good base to explore the area around

Overall, a solid choice if you want convenience, access to the park, and the onsen experience.
