“A place to treat yourself to good local food and relaxing Onsen”
Very quiet, located in an idillic location. Clean and roomy Japanese style bedroom. Outside mixed Onsen in the middle of nature. Delicious gourmet food for dinner and breakfast.

Beautiful location, pleasant Japanese style room. No aircon but two fans which did the job. Lovely onsen outside surrounded by the forest with good onsen facilities inside.

“Hotel stays in Shiretoko's natural surroundings”
We stayed for two consecutive nights. When they saw that our elder kid did not eat the adult food at breakfast, they offered to switch to a children's plate from the next meal. They also found our younger kid had forgotten her stuffed animal after our departure, contacted me and sent it home. Thus, the service provided by the staff was excellent. Highly appreciated.

“Accommodation in the remote and unexplored Shiretoko”
The location is in a forest with no buildings around, and is great for nature lovers. The open-air baths of the hot spring are a style of mixed bathing with a bathrobe. There is also a hot spring in the forest near the hotel (no dressing room). The staff are very friendly.

“What an awesome experience!”
I chose this hotel due to its location next to the trail head of rausu dake and I am super happy that I did that! The hotel is a cultural experience! Everything was perfect. The onsen was magnificent, the food was so diverse and of local products, and the tatami room was beautiful. They even offered a pepper spray against bears for my hike. To be honest, I can't share the opinion of the others that the hotel is too expensive. Instead I'd say you get more then what you pay!

Nestled in the deeper part of Shiretoko.. Deer sightings around the hotel. Very good breakfast and dinner!!
