Situated in Shanjungu, 22 km from Ngoma Teak Forest, Musungwa Safari Lodge features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. “Beautiful Restful Stay”
It was a very nice and restful environment. Looking out over the lake at sunset was amazing. The staff was amazing and helped us book an amazing safari in the Kafue National Park. The food was amazing and the pool was great for cooling down in the hot afternoons.

Superb location overlooking the lake with an excellent pool. Accomodation and restaurant/bar very good. Staff excellent. right next to the park gate.

“There is no separate heaven.”
Musungwa Safari Lodge is paradise. Beautiful scenery, Itezhi tezhi - enchanting sunset with the lake, pleasant and quiet environment, it is a remote area in Zambia, the environment is not polluted and it is a good place, but it is far away, the accommodation - the building is old and worn, but the sincerity They do offer room service, I stayed there for 7 days and it was really nice and comfortable. This is a place I would like to stay again if I get the chance. I paid for the accommodation with a credit card.

“Excellent lodge, worth staying more than one night.”
We had our rooms upgraded at no extra cost. Superb location, service & food great. Lovely pool and tennis courts. I really wish we had booked a couple of nights rather than the single night break in journey from Kafue NP down to Livingstone. There is a gift shop, but we had to ask if there was one as it is not obvious. Has some nice t-shirts. The lodge was built in the 1960s and is very solidly built. I am a fan of this age of lodges.

“Its like a Bush lodge, no minimum standered except food.not the breakfast.”
No good breakfast. Very minimum items. Very good location and environment but room service is bad. Not enough linen. No consumables in the room. Very basic accommodation. Booking.com should confirm the standard of service before include in the listing. This is second time disappointed like Hilton Chapeltown.

Really good and professional staff, great kitchen staff and beautiful new rooms, with a more then a great view! We had a marvelous dinner on the terrace with a private fire, really cosy, the staff did everything to feel us two special.
