“Quaint property with very friendly host”
Good location within the old town. About 15metres from the road (near the fire station) where your car can stop you. Friendly staff with a great breakfast made by the host herself. Rather big room with very interesting ethnic decor.

It is a beautiful traditional Tibetan house. I love the location right in the old town but quiet. The room is well equipped with an oxygen machine, which is very helpful for high attitude sickness. The room is very warm, and the bed is super comfy. The stuff is very lovely. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

Wonderful Authentic experience in the old town of Shangri-La. Rose is a great host, always ready to help. The Guesthouse is an Authentic Tibetan house. We loved it.

“Family stay”
The owners are very homely and welcoming. They offered hot ginger tea to us even though we checked in late. The breakfast was catered to us Muslim, and it was delicious! The place is very tibet style and traditional. They have space for us to sit around and enjoy the view. The location is jst walking distance to the temple and shopping area. The lady owner, Rose, is very kind and helpful. She speaks very good english too!

My hubby & I had a wonderful stay at Timeless Inn. The lady boss and her husband were incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel right at home. The inn has a charming traditional atmosphere, and my room was clean and well‑maintained. All the necessary amenities were provided, making the stay both comfortable and memorable.

“cozy stay with traditional flavor”
The owner is very kind and easygoing. She is there for questions about travel tips, surroundings area etc. The room was cozy and with typical nice furniture, with wooden walls and very comfy beds. Breakfast is served in the small common area where there is a cast-iron stove which makes the room warm. Breakfast choice is very simple but good: coffee or tea, toast with jam and butter, some mushrooms.

The host, Rose, speaks good English and makes us feel right at home. She is lovely and very approachable. The place is as shown in the pictures, location inside the old town is mere minutes walk away from the central town square. The breakfast provided was a simple local food, which is a nice break from the flavourful local food .

“Charming stay”

The athmosphere was great and super friendly. Rose was a great hostess friendly, knowledgeable, and always reliable. She spoke French and English which is an enormous plus in China. Breakfast was very good and sufficient and the coffee excellent. We certainly will be back !

“Home away from home!”
Rose and Arong were so welcoming, preparing a sumptuous breakfast for us every morning according to the time that we need to wake up. We especially appreciated the comforter for a good night's sleep. Rose even walked us to our Didi or whenever we stepped out from the guesthouse. We really enjoyed how homely it felt and relaxed well.

I had a wonderful stay at this inn with a free room upgrade - thank you, Rose! The room was amazing, spacious, spotless, and equipped with warm water and a well-maintained bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean and thoughtfully arranged. What truly made the stay special was the warm hospitality of Rose and her hubby, along with Luca (their dog). They are so kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to help me with my laundry, arrange my tour ticket, and basically anything else that I needed help with.

The best of Timeless Inn? The hospitality and warmness of Rose. Supporting all guests with a permanent smile. Very helpful her advice. The atmosphere in the hotel was also very warm. The tibetan traditional style in all the house and specialy in the rooms is pretty attractive. And the very best... Luca their lovely dog. 😍
