The location is ideal—right on the Bund yet away from the bustling crowds, offering calm and quiet with no outside noise. Our river‑view room gave us the best skyline view of Shanghai. This was a truly excellent hotel, honestly quite taken aback at the quality delivered compared to the price. Incredible friendly staff, amazing beautiful rooms, fantastic location, gorgeous spa. I was really impressed There is a machine at breakfast where you can print a photo of something onto your coffee, so cute and such fun. We did a photo of our cat :)

We were looking for a place where we could feel completely comfortable while enjoying our time in Shanghai, and The St. Regis Shanghai on the Bund truly delivered. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out—but what really elevated the experience was the butler service. It was exceptional. Every request we had was handled smoothly and efficiently, and they were always able to accommodate our needs with flexibility and precision. The team was incredibly helpful, attentive, and detail-oriented, often anticipating what we needed before we even asked. A special mention to Kylie, who was absolutely amazing throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of, and her attentiveness and warmth made a real difference to our overall experience. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably maintained. Given that we stayed for 10 days, consistency mattered—and housekeeping exceeded expectations every single day. The bed was extremely comfortable, and coming back each night felt like returning to a quiet, luxurious retreat after long days out. The location on the Bund is hard to beat. Being able to step out and immediately take in the skyline and river views added a special touch to the entire trip, while still being convenient to get around the city. What really stood out were the details—from how requests were handled to the overall standard of upkeep. Everything reflected a strong commitment to delivering a true St. Regis experience. After 10 days, it genuinely felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined, comfortable, and seamless experience in Shanghai.

The bed was soft, the shower fantastic, The view on the river amazing, the marble everywhere was wow. Gym all technogym. The concierge always here to help. The front desk, the personnel very nice.

All services were provided on time and without any delays. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive to detail throughout the stay. As long as guests communicate respectfully and make reasonable requests, everything runs smoothly. I did notice that a few guests behaved inappropriately, which was unnecessary and did not reflect well on them. Overall, a pleasant experience.

This hotel was INSANE. It was probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. We upgraded to a “Bund Panoramic View” room and it was so worth it. Just incredible! The restaurant/bar on the 21st floor is an absolute gem too.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel — everything was perfect from start to finish. The service was outstanding, and every detail was taken care of with such warmth. Special thanks to Fernando for his kindness and attentive help with everything.

Location, close to the Bund. Butler staff available via Wechat and in person in the hotel lobby. Friendly and high servce staff. Extensive and delicious breakfast. Large and comfortable room. The butlers Fernando, Astrid Wang, Yuna Yuan and Frieda Xu have been excellent assistants and were very resourceful and helpful throughout the stay. The hairdryer is a Dyson the best trademark in the market and this is highly valuable. Amenities in the room were complete and useful, the toilet is warm and smart, enough room space
