“Clean and comfy stay”

New hotel, very clean and very comfortable beds.

Comfortable with good service and room price

I want to say is that everytime I make a transfer in Shanghai I stay at this hotel. It's next to a small town and has everything. You can have a haircut, shopping, and even massage. The hotel provides shuttles between hotel and airport. Hotel was also newly renovated. It's a 3 stars but the facilities are 4 stars. Highly recommened

The hotel is close to Pudong Airport. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. All the staff are friendly, especially housekeeping staff 331 and 332, who are very responsible.

Not my first time here and for sure will be more staying here according to my work.

Excellent value for money, a nice clean hotel in a quiet location perfect for us to catch some sleep while transiting through Shanghai, with easily accessed shuttle service to and from the airport.

-quite close to the airport, around 15-20 minutes ride by the shuttle bus (provided by the hotel to and from the airport). - room is clean and functional. They provide water kettle, glasses, mineral waters and tea bags. - close to local residence area. Various restaurants and groceries. For muslim travelers, there are two halal restaurants nearby (lanzhou ramen restaurants). - very nice option for travelers who has long transit time / overnight transit in Shanghai.

Good size, modern and largely well-equipped room with great regular shuttle service to Pudong airport. Great buffet breakfast selection of mostly oriental food.

We had a really great stay at Shanghai Joyful Star Hotel and honestly enjoyed it more than expected! The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the start, which made check in smooth and stress free. The location was not the most convenient, especially for getting to attractions near the city centre. However, with China's DiDi taxi service and the hotel's free shuttle bus services, it was not too bad! The hotel also provides free breakfast, washer and dryer, treadmills, and much more!! Our room looked amazing, was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed after busy days out. It felt cozy and relaxing, and for the price, it was genuinely great value! Overall, such a pleasant and easy stay. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and good service, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay. Would happily stay here again! Special thanks to the housekeeping staff who kept our messy room clean every single day without fail and replenished our Toiletries and such. We truly appreciate you guys!! After a long day, coming back to a clean room meant a lot <3

Environment was comfortable welcoming and professionally maintained. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. It was also a bonus having the shuttle from and to the Airport. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and If I was ever visiting Shanghai Pudong again I would consider booking their accommodation in the future.
