Conveniently located in Lujiazui area, Shanghai Hidden Garden International Youth Hostel features a creatively designed sun terrace, where a lot of events can be hold. Free WiFi is provided throughout the entire property. Free private parking is also possible. Century Avenue Station (Metro line 2, 4, 6, 9) is only a 7-minute drive away. The famous Jin Mao Tower is a 10-minute drive from Shanghai Hidden Garden International Youth Hostel. Oriental Pearl TV Tower is 13 minutes’ drive from the Hostel, while Century Park is a 20-minute drive away. Shanghai Disneyland can be reached within 40 minutes. Shanghai Pudong International Airport is a 45-minute drive from the property, while Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport is 41 minutes’ drive away. Bunk beds and private rooms are offered here. All modern soundproofing guest rooms feature air-conditioning, executive lounge access and wake-up service. Bathroom comes with a walk-in shower, a hairdryer and slippers. “GOOD”
The front desk staff at this hotel did an excellent job! Xiao Li, Xiao Liu, Xiao Luo, and Xiao Mai — every single one of them was super nice. Whether it was checking in, asking for directions, or storing luggage, they were quick to respond and had a great attitude. They spoke in such a gentle and soft-spoken manner that it made me feel really comfortable. Thanks to their service, my whole trip became much more enjoyable. Five stars — I have to give them a shoutout!

･If you inform them of your check-in time in advance, a staff member will be waiting for you. I checked in at 8:30 PM, but I had to call the front desk to summon a staff member. ･The room had four bunk beds and accommodated eight people. While some parts of the bathroom were a little dirty, it was generally clean and comfortable. ･The room has a shower, sink, and toilet, all separate. The water temperature and pressure are fine. Unusually for China, the toilet is Western-style. ･Toothbrushes, loungewear, and bath towels are included in the service. However, the bath towels are thin and disposable, so if you prefer a softer one, you will need to bring your own.

The staff is very polite and helpful. In particular, Liu is very kind and supportive: when I asked a couple of questions regarding bed linen, she replied smiling and with a positive attitude. She could understand me despite my Italian accent :) I also appreciate the location and the value for money.

“Cheap, 7mins away from metro”
Well I was pleasantly surprised since lots of people here and on Gmap had a lot of complain, my private room was great. Everything was fairly clean. Yes the common areas could use a lil makeover but asides from that 10/10 Yes you might have to walk past the recycling dumpster to come here but no smell reach the room and the people over there are honest workers

i'm traveling by Bicycle, the hostel has a big storage romm where i easily could storage my bike for 10 days the staff QQ and li where really nice and did help me a lot :) it's close to the metro station, so you reach the bund in round about 15 min
