Nothing but positives. The staff was absolutely amazing, and we even had the entire camp to ourselves due to the situation in the Middle East and the heavy rains and floods affecting Oman at the time. Despite all of that, the team went above and beyond to accommodate us and created a fully customized program based on our preferences. We experienced a deep desert drive, dune bashing, a visit to a Bedouin family, a camel farm, and a beautiful sunset. There is really nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.

Excellent camp in the dessert for real travellers. For those who want to meet together at the common dinner and then chat at the campfire. That's how travelling should look like. Absolute generosity from the manager - brought us coffe, food, fruit anytime we sat in the common area. Big dunes just in walking distance. went there mornings/evenings. Camel ride. Delicious dinners.

If someone want more pristine and simple staying in the desert, this is it. 12km from the main road in front of the high dunes easy accesible with 4WD car. Good and tasty food; tea, water all the time. Possible short walk for sunset view. Tents wih building toillets behind.

A wonderful experience. We stayed in a family tent with a private bathroom just behind it. The location is slightly removed from the other establishments, making it peaceful and authentic. The food exceeded expectations and was excellent. Coffee, tea, dates, and fresh fruit are always available in a large and inviting common tent. A range of services and activities is offered, all organised professionally. Highly recommended.

Staff friendliness and dinner options

“Great night in the desert”

We were contacted by our host by WhatsApp prior to arrival and given very precise instructions where to meet our driver. The car was parked in a secured parking next to a petrol station in Al Wasil. Our driver Amr then brought us to the camp. The 20-minute drive itself was a highlight as he sped through the desert like there is no tomorrow. Our teenage son LOVED it. It always felt safe though, and he also stopped here and there for us to take pictures, for example of the camels of which you see a lot. The camp itself was nice and the tents spacious. Before dinner, they took us on a dune bashing tour driving up and down the dunes in the 4x4 for some time and then giving us a lot of time on the top of the dunes to watch the sun set. The dinner and breakfast were good, and they made a fire were guests could come together and chat. The next day we enjoyed the sunrise and then went on a quad tour through the dunes which our son also loved. A few years earlier he would have enjoyed the camel ride which was also offered.
