Loved our stay here! The staff were very accommodating and were very understanding in us changing our night stay. We enjoyed the cinema night under the stars - made the stay 100x better!

Coming here was truly a dream come true, the camp had all the luxury you could want while still giving that authentic desert feel. Plenty of space and peace to enjoy everything the desert had to offer: camel rides, watching the sunset from the dunes, stargazing and even a movie night with popcorn and authentic Arrak Milk Tea provided. The staff was also amazing: they provided everything you could want with a smile on their face. We loved our stay ar Sama al Wasil Desert Camp!

Value for money was incredible (although might’ve been because of low season) staff were kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and the amenities were good! Food quality was excellent, no complaints.

Easy to find, beautiful property, tasty food!!! Polite personel. We did dune bashing, camel riding - recommend. also liked cinema with popcornes in the evening. you can climb up dune in the morning for sunrise - amazing view:) If you want even more cozy and personal stay - book at locals:) Dont be afraid, omani are very good people.

Nice bungalow, even though the toilet is a bit small. However, staff is friendly and breakfast+ Dinner had options for everyone! Was a different experience!

We spent one night at Sama Wasil Desert Camp, and it’s definitely a place we will remember for a long time. Even the drive there was an amazing experience. Driving a 4x4 through the desert felt magical. The route was easy with a 4x4, and the views were absolutely worth it. We stayed in a chalet with two bedrooms and a private bathroom. It was very clean, cozy, and nicely decorated, simple but full of atmosphere. The common dining area was also very pleasant and well organized. Dinner and breakfast were both tasty and varied. In the evening, there was live music during dinner. The camp also offers an outdoor cinema under the stars with two screenings each night. We didn’t attend, but it’s a lovely idea. We did a camel ride at sunrise and visited a local Bedouin family. We highly recommend both experiences. Staying in the desert is a must-do in Oman, and spending the night in this camp makes the experience even more magical. We truly recommend it.
