This is a very well equipped and large apartment. The location right on the Via Francigena is great and there is a large supermarket 200 meters away.

“I could not say in a short sentence all that was great and fine and good at Casa Papona.”
There was nothing not to like, except the feeling that I might be taking advantage of my hosts, a very unusual feeling. The B&B is on the via Francigena and a bus route, and I would like nothing better than to stay there again.

Sabrina could not have been a better host! I arrived very wet from a huge storm. She saw the fantastic heater was switched on and st the washing machine so I could wash and dry everything before I continued the next morning. The cooking facilities are really excellent and spotlessly clean. And the real bonus for a pilgrim is that the apartment is within half a km of an excellent Conad supermarket and is on the Via Francigena for the next morning departure. I have no hesitation in recommending Casa Papona.
