I loved the host and everyone I met who worked and/ or lived here. I loved that I had an actual double bed even though I was only one person. I loved the eclectic mix of furniture and bric-a-brac, I'd imagine collected over many years, and with love and care. I really loved there being a small kettle and a sachet of coffee or a tea bag per night. And the location is just great, so close to Casa de Pilatos, the catedral, the river, everything.

Such a cozy and comfy place! I loved my room, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great! Staff were so friendly and accommodating.

The house has an wonderful, traditional charm to it, helped by all the antique furnishings. If you enjoy a historic feel to your accommodation, this is the one for you! The host was very friendy and helpful, and he gave very clear and specific instructions for coming and going from the property, so there was no worry of trouble with the keys. My room was cute and clean, and I wish I could have stayed more nights so that I could use the common areas a bit more, they were so beautiful. The location was also very handy for sightseeing, and the Casa de Pilatos is very close. It was a charming place, and I would definitely like to stay here again!

“Amazing hostel and brilliant host”

It is very beautiful, very quiet and peaceful, authentic and cosy hostel and also very very clean. My room did not have air conditioning but it was a big fan in a room that helped to cope either the heat. Jose is a brilliant host. I do not speak spanish, but it was not a problem at all to understand Jose, he had a google translate ready and all instructions and rules of the hostel was very clearly explained. After check out, he was happy to keep luggages safe for an extra cost, while me and my friend were exploring Sevilla. The location is perfect as well. I am very satisfied with the stay and would happily come back in a future. Thank you!

Lovely stay for our one night, really appreciated the traditional style and decor. We only met the staff briefly on check in, but they were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated the aircon and tea/coffee. Excellent location, in easy walking distance to restaurants, the train station, and key attractions.

The hosts were so kind and friendly. They moved us to a larger room as we were staying for 5 nights. The place was charming, a mix of 19th century artists house and moroccan writer’s retreat. Great location. Comfy beds. Quiet at the evening.

The house is really interesting and reminded me of Istanbul. It's properly lived in. Jose Antonio is an interesting character too. It's not bland it has character

Great location, very nice space - whole hostel, calm street, bakery just next to the hostel, very nice host, you can leave luggage there on check out day and explore city, very nice community space/shared living room. Nice patio with sofa and flowers
